If a hot tray or pot is placed on the stove top when off or on all the lights on burners begin to flash. Can't turn off until item is removed and stove tops cools down. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Cooktop This unit replaced an older white cooktop with control nobs during our complete kitchen upgrade with four LG appliances. This 30" fit perfectly in the hole cut into the granite for the old one. Without nobs, it's very easy to clean and looks very nice in the granite. The controls are bright, large enough and easy to use after getting used to how long to keep your finger on them to activate. Wished we had space for the 36" unit. It also heats up very fast and is easy to change temps when needed. Great unit for the price and features!

Because the controls are in the surface and not above it, it is a breeze to clean. And, the burner sizes are perfect fits for all of my pots and pans, unlike my previous cooktop.

1 burner light won't go out and stove will not turn on

We regret the trouble you have experienced with this cooktop. It is recommended to deactivate the local circuit breaker for this device, and leave it off for about 45 seconds to a minute. After this time, reactivate the power flow and check to see if this has resolved the matter. If it does not, then the range may require service. We do alot of canning of tomatoes, sauces, etc. and I need to know if this cooktop can handle the 4-gallon canning pot?

The pot is approximately 15" wide and holds about 4 gallons of water.

The large burner is 9.5 inches in diameter. A 15 inch pot would extend over the burner by about 2 inches on either side and overhang the countertop (on the right) by an inch or so. For something that big, I would look at the 36 inch model or a commercial cooktop.

LG LCE3610SB 36 can I use this cooktop in Europe? (220-240v) It's says that is 240v

Hello ymdv. The Electrical supply is actually rated as 240V/208V, 60Hz AC for the LG 36" Radiant Cooktop, Model # LCE3610SB. The Voltage is only one half of the issue, You also need to look at the frequency which in the US is 60 Hz but in Europe it is 50 Hz. Typically units that show as 50/60hz are okay to use in Europe. In this case, it actually works out well because the wattage at 220/50Hz is the same as 240V/60Hz so you can use this abroad...^IFV

Radiant stove top LCE3081 makes periodic beeping sound regularly - how can I make it stop?

In the middle of night all of a sudden it will beep 4-5 times in a row. It is not on or hot, is there something that needs to be reset? if power goes off would something need to be reset or is there some other setting to adjust??? The top does not have any unusual buttons to select other than heat or child lock settings

Such an alert does not appear to be normal for this device, to the point that there does not seem to be such an alarm programmed into this range.
