What People Are Saying

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love having 2 ovens Thanksgiving was great with the two ovens going. I’m still learning when and how to use the convection features so I’ve overlooked things a couple times! One thing to note - this model does NOT have a self-cleaning feature. There is one available - Lowe’s ordered the wrong one and I didn’t recognize the problem right away. Add that to my long list of reasons why not to do business at Lowes, but the range is great. So far only major complaint is the number of digital ringers - oven reached temp, timer top oven, timer bottom oven and they’re all kind of annoying sounds. Otherwise I’m happy so far - about 2 months of cooking with it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Each oven is ineffective Have had this oven for almost a year. The cooktop is awesome. The top oven is worthless except for a warming drawer. It does not cook evenly. Cookies are burned on the bottom and raw in the middle. The bottom oven is better, but the positions should be reversed...why should the heavier items be closer to the floor? also does not cook evenly...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Either burns or over cooks :( Regardless of the settings, I cannot make this oven bake properly !! The clock is worthless, loses time, speeds up. Basically, the electronics do not work ! So frustrated

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Great I had bought a LG Refrigerator and are very happy with it, so when it was time to upgrade the rest of our appliances LG was an easy choice. the double oven is a great option, the ease of operation and appearance. couldn't be happier with our purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Double Oven The design of the oven is just what we were looking for in a kitchen remodel. The ease of operation of the ovens, and burners is wonderful. We should have had this appliance a long time ago.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought this range approximately 3 months ago. My opinion of it hasn't changed yet. To be helpful to others considering this, I'll start with the pros. Pros * Five burners, including a warming burner * Rapid Boil feature * Multi-sized burner for flexible pan size. * DOUBLE OVEN!! Cons * Control knobs are easily turned. We have had multiple accidental turning on a burner because the knobs turn so easily. Futher, the beveled front aids in the accidental turning of the knobs when reaching into the cabinet above the stove. * NO, NONE, NADA, ZIP recommended type of material for cookware for the glass cooktop. It listed out several types of cookware and the damage that would be done to the cooktop by using that particular type of pan. * The VERY FIRST time I used my cooktop, it ended up with gray scratches on it, despite my attempts to be VERY CAREFUL. I had an old Magic Chef glass cooktop that I could use just about anything on without a problem. Not my range that cost a fortune!! * The operation of the electronic control panel (oven) is a bit confusing with all of the buttons. We're getting it figured out, but it's still a struggle. * The pizza option...I've YET to be able to get it to work and not have to adjust the cooking time (by an amount yet to be determined and remembered) or have a well-done pizza. * The convection oven is supposed to automatically adjust the temp (and it does), so you can use the same cook time. I've yet to have that work without having well-done baked goods. * I know it's petty, but I can't change the song that plays when the timer goes off. It's annoying. In all, sadly, I wish I hadn't purchased this range. I have contemplated just using my old one since we still have it. If I'd have known this before I purchased it, I wouldn't have purchased it. You might like it, but I don't.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG Probake Convention double oven I love my LG ProBake Convention Electric range. It neatly fits in the standard 30" space and lets me cook the way I always dreamed of cooking. Something in the top oven, something else in the lower oven and more meal preparation on the top of the range. The pizza presets are a clever addition to oven cooking. Love that! I would recommend this range to anyone who loves to cook and bake like a pro.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Replacement range works great! We recently updated all 4 appliances within a year, all LG. Three of the four have had service work on from August to yesterday. Microwave, door replaced, and LG claims the clock does not work, after three service repairs, LG claims this model made after a certain date no longer displays the clock...annoying My door in door side by side fridge, ice machine has not worked since November, three repairs, still broken. Will see what Monday brings with my repair guy and LG. Now the range, the first one I had delivered, didn't work, took 45 mins to warm up water, not the rapid boil they claimed. The oven, never worked, took three repairs and three weeks of not cooking for me to convince the dealer to replace the lemon range. Thankfully they did, now that I have one that works, I love it. Boils water fast, bakes great, loved baking with it for the holidays. The only con I have, is the knobs turn on very easy, so as I reach up above my microwave, if my belt or anything hits the knobs they do turn on. You will know though it turns on because you hear a click. With little kids, it makes me nervous, but other then that, I am very pleased with it, now that I have one that works. The problem is, I should not have had to have two new ranges out of the box delivered in less then a month. When you pay for a premium price for nice appliances, they should work out of the box, end of story. Because of my problems with all of my LG appliances, I paid more out of pocket and put warranties on all of them, even the dishwasher I had zero problems with...knock on wood. .

Is it ok to put a hot dish directly onto a cool cooktop? For example, pulling a cookie sheet from the oven, do I need to put it elsewhere or could I put it on the cooktop directly?

Asked by: Amandajoy
The LG 7.3 cu. ft. Electric Double Oven Range with ProBake Convection® and EasyClean®, Model # LDE4411ST has a Ceramic Glass Cooktop. The sudden change in heat could crack the ceramic glass but the biggest concern is that placing something on the cooktop could scratch the cooktop and when you place something hot on a cool surface can cause the scratch to expand leading to the cooktop shattering. If you are going to place something hot on the cooktop, you may want to protect it from direct contact to be on the safe side...^IFV

Where is serial number

Asked by: Tami1969
We appreciate your interest in this electric range. The serial number will be located in one of two places: lower left door frame; back of the control panel.

I am filling out the warranty card.  Where do I find the serial number for my new lde 4415st electric range.?  Thank you.

Asked by: Nancy36
We appreciate your interest int his electric range. According to our information, it appears that the MODEL/SERIAL tag is attached to a metal strip that is hinged to the back of the control panel, in such a fashion as to be accessible over the top of the display.
