What People Are Saying

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stylish and functional but lacks durability We've owned this refrigerator (black model) for a few years now and I love how roomy it is however; the paint is worst part of it because it is not durable at all. Several scratches and afe dents later I wish I would have bought a different one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Recommend bye friend because of quality performance and looks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick to heat up Compared to my last stove/oven, this brand/model is super quick on heating up. Last one (major store brand) would take 3xs as long to preheat. The only downfall I have with this LG is the front oven control knobs. They are easy to turn on just by leaning on them to reach up for something. LG definitely needs a better locking mechanism for these.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not happy The cooktop is hard to keep clean. I have had this for only 3 months and don't care for this scrubbing every time I cook- The igniters have turned on with just leaning over to get into my cabinets Would not buy the current appliances

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Double beauty! At first I was a little unsure of the bright blue interior but wow, now I love the pop of color! I had a double oven before so I knew I couldn't go back to a single oven. This one is even better. The top is much easier to clean. It is performing perfectly. I couldn't be happier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Convenient Had this stove for a few months and appears to work well. Like the idea of dual ovens, makes it easy to prepare separate meals for kids. Glide out rack in bottom oven makes it easier to remove larger items. Only concern is that the stovetop elements can accidentally be turned on by slightly bumping them such as leaning over the stove to reach a cupboard.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware of rusting of stainless steel! I purchased this range less than a year ago and while I believe the oven and stove top functionality work well, the stainless leaves much to be desired. Several months ago (mind you less than one year) the stainless panel where the burner knobs are located have begun to become pitted with rust. I've had other stainless appliances for years and have never had issues with rusting. Since it was still under warranty, I contacted LG support and they informed me they would not do anything unless the rust was present at the time of install. This was disappointing as I own many other LG appliances (Washer/Dryer, Dishwasher, Microwave) and would have liked to see the company stand by their product as this isn't an inexpensive appliance. I am in the market for a new refrigerator soon, but will have to think long and hard on if the next one I buy is an LG.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great features for seniors! My range was purchased last year shortly before Thanksgiving. It worked wonderfully for a houseful of guests for Thanksgiving dinner. We had turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes and the works for a dozen people. I especially like it tho for myself. Usually I am alone and I can bake in the small oven something just for myself - perhaps a baked potato or chicken of fish for just one individual. It doesn't heat up the whole house and doesn't cost a lot to run the smaller oven. It heats quickly and does a nice job cooking whatever I want. The adjustable burners are handy as well when cooking for just 1 person.

Lde4413 - How does the ultra heat power boil turn on? I turn the knob to on and it only heats in the middle element. Water never boils. Had pot on element for 1 hour and just had little bubbles. What's the trick?  Water boils on the right element without.

Asked by: Lorerichcap
We appreciate your interest in this range. The middle rear element does not have the power boil, as it only reaches 100 watts. For more information on the burners, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000.

Hi! What is the absolute lowest heat setting for the convection oven? I'd like to be able to turn on the fan to use to slightly dry some recipes out but not have heat flowing where it will cook. Please tell me this is possible! Thanks so much!

Asked by: Karen8
We appreciate your interest in this electric range. According to the information listed on page 21 of the owner’s manual, it appears that lowest temperature specified on this model is 170 degrees, which is available on the BAKE setting. The WARM setting also appears to have a 170 degree lowest setting. However, the PROOFING setting will not operate if the oven is over 125 degrees, and is more common around 100 degrees.

Can I bake in the bottom oven without using convection setting, and get same results as the top conventional oven?

Asked by: Newbaker614
The Convection Modes (Convection Roast and Convection Bake) in the lower oven for the LG 7.3 cu. ft. Electric Double Oven Range with ProBake Convection®, EasyClean®, Model # LDE4413ST are selectable modes. The oven can be programmed to bake at any temperature from 170 °F (80 °C) to 550 °F (285 °C). The default temperature is 350 °F (175 °C). The convection fan will operate periodically throughout a normal bake cycle in the lower oven. That is normal for and it is to ensure even baking results...^IFV
