What People Are Saying

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 312 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it so far Have only had this range for about a month but so far we are very satisfied. I really like the fact there is no exposed oven element which makes cleanup a breeze. Also, controlling the elements for the pot size is a nice feature. July 24, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Range The features are great. The temperature controls are easy to use. The convection cycles are great for roasting meats August 22, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hot - Instant Hot No longer have to wait for the stove to warm the burner up - turn on and its HOT. Some others in the house say they're used to having the knobs to set the heat - I say bravo to digital setting. August 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by LRE 3083SW I love this range,I have had many and none can compare, even the higher price ones. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this, wonderful product. August 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality product ! In all my years of cooking and baking (a lot of years !) this stove is the best ever ! The features are awsome, cooks and bakes really fast ! Just love everything about it ! Go and buy one, you will love it ! August 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to use and great style Great looking stove! Easy to use, first time I baked with the convection feature I was amazed at how even my cake was, never had that happen before, it was always lopsided! Beautiful interior, very large and I love the purple light (other reviewers have said blue, but I think it's a light purple/blue). Stove-top is very easy to clean large or small spills, always comes back to that beautiful shiny look! Overall, I am so very pleased that I purchased an LG stove and wouldn't change it for the world!! Thanks LG for your wonderful craftsmanship! August 13, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 Love the blue Great results with stove top and oven. Love the convection. Easy to use. August 7, 2015

Answer:
I have not used the self clean feature yet, but have had it on other stoves. You don't use anything prior to the self clean feature. Just be sure not to shorten the default time for self cleaning. If you are talking about the quick clean, you only spray it with water (but I haven't had it long enough to have tried this feature either).

Answer:
Before starting the SELF CLEAN cycle, remove the oven racks, broiler pan, broiler grid, all cookware, aluminum foil or any other material from the oven. Wipe up any heavy spillovers from the bottom of the oven. Be certain that the light bulb cover is in place and the oven light has been deactivated. No cleaning products are needed inside the oven for this process.

Answer:
Yes, this range has both the HOT self-cleaning mode and the new easy-clean fast cycle cleaning mode. This is one of the reasons we went with this model. Works great, we love it.

Answer:
I didn't get a broiler pan. But there were 3 racks and the special easy clean kit. I wont miss it, I don't broil that often and when I do, I would use a grill.

Answer:
49 1/4" I just measured it this is from the back of the unit to the top edge of the oven door in the fully open position. Just so you know there is a 1-1.5" gap between the back of my oven and the wall, you may need this to depending on the mounting of the anti-tip over bracket. We have an island, and although you cant stand between the island and the open oven door we still have no difficulties putting heavy full cast iron pots into and out of the oven in that configuration. We love this range.

What size pot/pan can you use on the larger burners?

The cooktop on my old stove cracked/broke. We have purchased a new LG LRE3038SB range. The largest burner is 9 inches from the specs. I use a stock pot that is about 10 1/2 inches in diameter at the bottom. Just wondering if that is an okay size to use or do I need to downsize my stock pot.

Answer:
We appreciate your interest in this electric range. According to the information listed in the owner’s manual, the cookware to be used should never exceed 1/2" to 1” larger than the diameter of the heating element. As such, the pot proposed in this matter will not heat evenly.
