Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks stylish It is the first time we experiences convection cooking. It now takes much less time to cook. Bottom part of this oven is not a storage. After reading manual it turned out that that part can be used to keep your food warm.

Fan runs during the normal bake cycle and the convection bake cycle - is this normal? When I bake a cake on the normal bake cycle it turns out very dry. Other's I have talked to with convection ovens (not LG) say the fan doesn't run in normal bake cycle

Asked by: janadelte
The convection system uses a fan to circulate the heat evenly within the oven. Improved heat distribution allows for even cooking and excellent results while cooking with single or multiple racks. The oven fan will run while convection baking. The fan will stop when the door is open, but the heat will remain active. It is also normal for the convection fan to operate periodically throughout a normal bake cycle. This is to ensure even baking results. This information is found on page23 of the owner’s manual.

how do you know if the lockout feature is active and how do you deactivate

Asked by: Bridgette12
We appreciate your interest in this electric range. The Lockout feature automatically locks the oven door and prevents most oven and cooktop controls from being turned on. It does not disable the clock, timer or the interior oven light. 1. Press and hold the START button for three seconds. 2. The lock melody will sound, OVEN LOCKOUT will appear in the display and DOOR LOCKED will flicker in the display. 3. Once the oven door is locked, the DOOR LOCKED indicator will stop flickering and remain

Clean inside front oven glass

Asked by: Zz28
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this gas range. These glass panes are not removable from the door, for cleaning purposes. As such, if the glass panes have something between them, the only option for cleaning them would be to obtain the assistance of a qualified technician.
