What is Sabbeth Mode listed under "Oven Features" on Model LRE3083Sw

I am looking for an over with the option of being able to put food in the oven, setting the time for it to start 2 or 3 hours and setting the time when I wish the oven to turn off. We used to call this feature "time bake". It works great when you have to be gone for several hours.
Asked by: Goldfish
You can do what you want with the oven's "start time" and "cook time" features, which can be used with together with baking, broiling, or convection.  Those buttons are in the center of the control panel, right under the display. Sabbath Mode is not what you are looking for.  Sabbath mode disables the display and the automatic safety shutdown, so that people who are religiously forbidden from doing work on the Sabbath or certain holidays can turn the oven on in advance and leave it on all day long.  Then, on the day of the Sabbath, they can use the always-warm oven to reheat foods without doing any forbidden work.

How scratch resistant is the glass cooktop

Long ago I had a glass cooktop, when they were new. It stained easily and scratched easily. I use a lot of cast iron and am used to tough gas burners. How is the glass sturdiness now compared to back in the 70s and 80s? Considering the LRE 3083. (my brother just got one)

I'm an electrician who came out to move the range receptacle so that the range would slide back all the way. The customer noticed a kink in the oven door when we were finished. LRE 3083st

Asked by: Morgan wood
You should notify the retailer from whom the LG 6.3 cu. ft. Capacity Electric Single Oven Range with True Convection and EasyClean™, Model # LRE3083ST was purchased from to notify them about the "kink". The unit should still be within the store's return policy if it is returnable. Check the receipt for details on returns to see if the unit can be exchanged otherwise you would have to go through setting up a repair service where the oven door would have to be ordered then replaced within the warranty...^IFV

My electric range won't push flush with the wall

Asked by: BeckyB
We regret the trouble you have experienced with the installation of this electric range. It is recommended to check for proper placement of the locking bracket and the power cable. If these matters do not resolve the situation, then it would be recommended to contact the installers to check behind the unit for any other obstructions.

Asked by: newboy
We appreciate your interest in this electric range. This model is NOT an Induction Range. Our Induction Surface models are the LCE30845 and LSCI307ST cooktops. This feature does not appear to be available, currently, in a full range configuration.
