What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality you can feel! We bought this range a few months ago and my wife has been delighted with the features. We shopped the "big box" stores so we could check out options and quality. The LG had a much more solid feel when opening and closing the oven door.

Can I use a teflon or silicone oven liner on the bottom of the oven to protect it from / prevent drips?

Asked by: AdamKlein
We appreciate your interest in this electric range. According to page 22 of the owner’s manual, it is recommended NOT to line the racks with aluminum foil, or any other material, or place anything on the bottom of the oven. Doing so will result in poor baking and may damage the oven bottom.

What is the temperature of the Proof setting? I have the LGE6383ST and the manual is blank in that section.. which is strange since it clearly states the min\/max temperatures of the other modes.

Asked by: dirt farmer
The LGE6383ST is not a US model and was never released in the US. Support for that model will only be available in the country of purchase. For inquiries on specifications on that model, please contact the LG Support in Canada (1-888-542-2623). They also have a Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LGCanada/ and a Twitter page https://twitter.com/lgcanada you can contact them on or on G+. The owner's manual for the LG 6.3 cu. ft. Capacity Electric Single Oven Range with True Convection and EasyClean®, Model # LRE3083ST, which is model showing in your inquiry, states that the Proofing function will not operate when the oven is above 125°F. HOT will show in the display. If it's of any help, you may want to know that the ideal proofing temperature is considered to be only 85F-90F. (All yeasts will die by 140F; many begin to die at only 120F.)...^IFV
