Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible oven I bought this range in June 2015. Immediately I had problems the the oven temperature not being consistent. LG repair said it was fine but it isn't. I never know whether tools will burn in 6 minutes or finally get brown in 25. Occasionally it works right but stil trying to find someone to repair it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing I got this stove prior to moving into my new home, got to use it for the first time last night and it was so easy to use, so easy to clean and large enough for almost any large meal.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hard to clean and the top chips I bought this stove the end of May because I have 2 LG refrigerators and like the products. I have found out since getting the stove the top is extremely hard to clean......... The stove top, black enamel, is very hard to clean. The black enamel chips very badly. We are an older couple and do not have children at home. You can not blame children for the chipping of the enamel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Oven temperature 100 degrees over displayed value! Burned food when I tried to bake with temperature display set per recipe! Received replacement range and new one has same problem. Have to buy temperature gauge to set temperature in oven! Poor quality oven control! Have other LG products that are good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE THIS STOVE!!! This is the first stove in my 35 year marriage that I got to pick out myself...that didn't just come with the house or get donated to us by some sweet person who was remodeling ;) Anyway, I did my homework, and I read LOTS of reviews. The reviews on this range were impressive but the clincher was when I went to the store and I opened it and saw that beautiful blue inside! Silly, right? Well that's how I felt! I have had this stove for a year now and I absolutely love it! The 5 burners are wonderful. The quick boil large burner is awesome! No more "watched pot never boils" with this range. The smaller burner behind the fast boil burner is just right for keeping things warm without boiling. The extra rack in the oven is pretty sweet when you are staggering cookie sheets, and they're done in a hurry! My grandbabies love coming to Grammy's for pancakes, and I threw away my electric griddle after trying the included griddle the first time! It makes PERFECT pancakes and grilled cheese! The oven and the cooktop clean like a dream. I was a little worried about the black top. but it cleans beautifully. I wash the grates, when they get food on them, in the dishwasher. I would buy this stove again in a minute, and have recommended it to friends and family! Worth every penny!

Is the stovetop easy to clean?I currently have a solid black stove it is a pain to keep clean it streaks so bad I absolutely do not like the stove I have now was looking at getting the black stainless stove.

Asked by: Clong
How easy or difficult the stovetop on the LG Black Stainless Steel Series 5.4 cu.ft. Capacity Gas Single Oven Range with EasyClean®, Model # LRG3081BD is to clean will depend on how soiled it is and what has spilled on it. Spatters can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth using a glass cleaner and some heavier soils can be cleaned up with warm soapy water. For foods with high acid or sugar content could cause a dull spot if allowed to set. Wash and rinse when the surface has cooled. For other spills such as oil/grease spattering, etc., wash with soap and water when the surface has cooled, then rinse and polish with a dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleansers, strong liquid cleaners, plastic scouring pads or oven cleaners on the manifold panel. Doing so will damage the finish. It is best to clean the manifold panel after each use of the oven. It is best to clean the manifold panel after each use of the oven. For cleaning, use a damp cloth and mild soapy water or a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. For rinsing, use clean water and polish dry with a soft cloth. The range consists of three separate professional-style grates that should be washed regularly and after spillovers and can be washed in hot, soapy water and rinsed with clean water. The grates are dishwasher safe. The burner heads and caps (and the oval burner head and cap assembly) can be lifted off. To remove burnt-on food, soak the burner heads in a solution of mild liquid detergent and hot water for 20–30 minutes. For stubborn stains, use a toothbrush or wire brush. Wash the burner bases and caps in hot soapy water and rinse with clean water. Run water through the oval burner from the bottom stem to flush out debris. Any spills on or around an electrode must be carefully cleaned. The burners will not operate properly if the burner ports or electrodes are clogged or dirty. Use a wire brush or pipe cleaner to unclog ports on the oval burner. Burner caps and heads should be cleaned routinely, especially after bad spillovers...^IFV

My mother in law has this stove and they did the self clean option. And ever since then when they use it they can only go up to 285 degrees when setting the temperature and will not go any higher. Is there a reset or is there something they have to do?

I have unattractive spots on the inside of the glass of the oven, I have used the easy clean and self clean, but they are still there. What can I do or use to remove spots?

Asked by: Tanjii
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this gas range. These glass panes are not removable from the door, for cleaning purposes. As such, if the glass panes have something between them, the only option for cleaning them would be to obtain the assistance of a qualified technician.
