Hard to clean and the top chips
I bought this stove the end of May because I have 2 LG refrigerators and like the products. I have found out since getting the stove the top is extremely hard to clean......... The stove top, black enamel, is very hard to clean. The black enamel chips very badly. We are an older couple and do not have children at home. You can not blame children for the chipping of the enamel.

Oven temperature 100 degrees over displayed value!
Burned food when I tried to bake with temperature display set per recipe! Received replacement range and new one has same problem. Have to buy temperature gauge to set temperature in oven! Poor quality oven control! Have other LG products that are good!

I LOVE THIS STOVE!!!
This is the first stove in my 35 year marriage that I got to pick out myself...that didn't just come with the house or get donated to us by some sweet person who was remodeling ;) Anyway, I did my homework, and I read LOTS of reviews. The reviews on this range were impressive but the clincher was when I went to the store and I opened it and saw that beautiful blue inside! Silly, right? Well that's how I felt! I have had this stove for a year now and I absolutely love it! The 5 burners are wonderful. The quick boil large burner is awesome! No more "watched pot never boils" with this range. The smaller burner behind the fast boil burner is just right for keeping things warm without boiling. The extra rack in the oven is pretty sweet when you are staggering cookie sheets, and they're done in a hurry! My grandbabies love coming to Grammy's for pancakes, and I threw away my electric griddle after trying the included griddle the first time! It makes PERFECT pancakes and grilled cheese! The oven and the cooktop clean like a dream. I was a little worried about the black top. but it cleans beautifully. I wash the grates, when they get food on them, in the dishwasher. I would buy this stove again in a minute, and have recommended it to friends and family! Worth every penny!

BEST STOVE EVER!!
We purchased this amazing stove in November 2016. We absolutely LOVE IT! It has 5 burners--one is a warming burner, but its still a nice feature. Another thing is the inside of the oven, is painted blue! Its really pretty! The convection oven is a huge bonus!! I HIGHLY recommend this oven! You won't be disappointed!

How do I set the clock on my lrg3081
According to pg. 22 of the owners manual, you would do the following to set the clock on your LRG3081:
1) Press the "Cook Time" button for 3 seconds.
2) Press the "+/-" button to set the time of day.
3) Press the "Start" button. The clock will be set, and the display will reflect the change after a short delay.

How to set timer? I can't find the manual. I will find it ! I love this stove! We're very pleased with the purchase.
We appreciate your interest in this gas range. Information regarding the TIMER function will be located on page 21. Press the TIMER ON/OFF button once to set the time in minutes and seconds, or press the button twice to set the time in hours and minutes. TIMER will flash in the display. Press the + or – button until the desired time appears in the display. Press the TIMER ON/OFF button again to start the countdown. TIMER will show in the display. When the timer reaches :00, END will show in the display. The clock will sound with 3 beeps every 15 seconds until the TIMER ON/OFF button is pressed again.

Hello, where can I find the optional griddle plate for this model ?
The optional non-stick griddle, Part # AEB72914204, cannot be used on the LG 5.4 cu.ft. Capacity Freestanding Gas Oven, Model # LRG3081ST. The griddle can only be used on range ovens that have an oval shaped center burner and the LRG3081ST has a round center burner...^IFV

Can I put a microwave hood range on top of the this stove? What is the minimum clearances?
Hi Glen30. We are not clear on your inquiry and would need some clarification on if by "microwave hood range" you are inquiring about the allowable minimum clearance for an over-the-range microwave oven above the LG 5.4 cu.ft. Capacity Freestanding Gas Oven, Model # LRG3081ST or a range hood? You will see the minimum clearance height for an over-the range microwave expressed in one of two ways. The first first will be that an over-the-range will require a minimum 66" mounting height from the floor to the top of the microwave which will allow approximately 13"-16" between the cooktop and the bottom of the microwave. The other way it is expressed is that you will require a minimum of 30" between the bottom of the upper cabinet that the over-the-range microwave will be installed in and the cooktop surface of counter top. That also works out to between 13"- 6" depending on the height of the microwave. As for range hoods (vent hoods), the answer will depend on its CFM, how wide it is and on the overall ceiling height and for that, you would need to consult the owner's manual for installation of the range hood or contact their customer support for advice. Typically, the recommendation is that the range hood should have a minimum of 600 CFM for a standard gas or electric cooktop/range and the higher the BTU rating for the oven, the more CFM would be required. It is also recommended that the range hood be 6 inches wider than the cooktop/range for maximum efficiency and have a height of about 36" above the range oven. Most range hood manufacturers recommend placing your hood no higher than 28"-30" above the cooking surface. Again, that is something that you will need to consult the installation instructions for the range hood for or the range hoods manufacturer...^IFV

I just bought one of these stoves and am attempting to hook up the gas line to the back. The standard 1/2 adapter is too big to fit into the back of the stove, yet the 3/8 adapt is too small. The manual says that 1/2 inch is the correct size. Which adapte
We regret the trouble you have experienced with the installation of this gas range. The 2 adapters mentioned are standard for installations which meet national standards and regulations. It is always recommended to have a licensed gas installer or plumber install the gas lines for such an item.
