Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST STOVE EVER!! We purchased this amazing stove in November 2016. We absolutely LOVE IT! It has 5 burners--one is a warming burner, but its still a nice feature. Another thing is the inside of the oven, is painted blue! Its really pretty! The convection oven is a huge bonus!! I HIGHLY recommend this oven! You won't be disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We just moved into our new home Sept 2016, and bought all LG appliances - gas range, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator in the black stainless. I love the color and it so far is smudge proof. This is my first ever gas range and I have been cooking for 30 years. I love it. It is easy to clean. However the gas burner aluminum caps I find impossible to keep the color even though nothing has spilled on them. They discolor in spots, but that is a minor detail. It is easy to clean.

I just bought one of these stoves and am attempting to hook up the gas line to the back. The standard 1/2 adapter is too big to fit into the back of the stove, yet the 3/8 adapt is too small. The manual says that 1/2 inch is the correct size. Which adapte

Hi, where should gas valve coming out from the wall be located? How high off the floor? BTW: for some reason LG spect sheet don't have any drawing of the range measurement.  Thanks.

What is the available space behind this stove to bring the gas line through the floor

Asked by: Jt291
The LG 5.4 cu.ft. Capacity Freestanding Gas Oven, Model # LRG3081ST has a cabinet width of 29 15/16" and is designed to be installed between standard kitchen cabinets that have a width of 30" between them. The center line for that space will be 15" from either cabinet. The recommended Gas Pipe and Outlet Locations will all be referenced to that center line. If you are bringing your gas line up through the floor, looking into that 30" space that you will be installing the range oven, an area extending 17 15/16" from the center line to the left and extending 5 14/16" to the right of the center line and extending 3 6/16" from the back wall is recommended...^IFV

We just bought our new oven and every time we turn the oven on, I smell gas for a small amount of time, then it dissapates. Is this normal? And there is a small open area on the back of the stove towards the bottom. Is this normal too?

Asked by: cmay
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this gas range. All gas which has been released during operations should have been burned. How long does this smell seem to last? How big is this opening on the back of the range? To what does this opening give access? Please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 to provide greater detail to this concern.

Is there a kit available to convert this range to Propane?

Asked by: Mad4trout
We appreciate your interest in this gas range. According to page 10 of the owner’s manual, a set of propane nozzles is provided with the range. There should be no need to purchase them separately, unless they have been removed by a previous owner. It is highly recommended to have these installed by a qualified gas technician.

Can you turn the convection off?

Asked by: Veronicak
We appreciate your interest in this gas range. The CONVECTION feature is an option which would have to be activated for each session in which it is to be used. Deactivating this function should require no more than turning off the oven, and then turning it on again.
