What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job I purchased my LG range 2 years ago and I am so pleased with my choice. I did my research and used Consumer Report Reviews. It does everything it is supposed to do. It has been reliable and easy to clean. I have not used the self-clean function as the installer said the heat might damage my countertops. So I have used a natural baking soda water blend and it cleaned it up very easily. I only wish it had a grill accessory as that would make it 6 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this range! There is only one thing I would change on this range and that would be the material used for the knobs. They look great but feel cheap to the touch. The owners manual even reminds owners not to leave the door ajar because the heat from the oven could melt the knobs. Please make replacement knobs and send them to registered owners. I love everything else about the range and I love the oven, not only is it a beautiful blue but both the true convection and regular heat do a wonderful job in baking and roasting. Easy to clean too!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good, but one significant flaw This is a nice stovetop/range in all respects save one. The broiler is, for some reason, profoundly underpowered. Therefore, your satisfaction will depend on what kind of food you cook. If you're someone who, for example, makes their own pizza frequently, you're bound to be frustrated. It's not the worst thing in the world, but i can't help but feel that for the price this goes for, something as basic as the broiler shouldn't be an issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This product has many features and easy to use. This gas range has many features. It is a convection oven as well as a gas oven. I have used the convection oven but usually use the conventional gas oven. It has five burners. The middle burner I have only used for pancakes. It does take a while for it to heat up the griddle that came with the stove. I like the blue interior of the oven. My only complaint is the first time I used the oven, some grease spilled onto the floor of the oven and I haven't been able to remove the stain. I have not used the self-clean feature yet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LOVE this stove, BUT... Excellent quality, features, performance, value, styling, easy to clean, love the burners all on one level, easy to shove pots from one burner to another, etc. ...BUT one complaint, I cannot cook on a slow simmer on the range, flame won't go low enough, it's too hot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the range, but my fan broke. I love all things LG and am slowly replacing my old appliances with them. I just got my new range and am just in love with it, but my convection fan broke before I had it a month. But no fear LG is coming to fix it, so all will be well. I love the cooking grates all the way across the top, as I often slide heavy pot from one burner to another and don't have to lift them up any more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The range is wonderful We love the oven, it bakes and roasts and broils as described in the manual. Meat comes out very juicy, cakes and pies are perfectly done. It keeps temperature extremely well. Top burners are very convenient. You need to keep the range clean so that it would look like new.

I recently bought a new LG gas range for my new house. When I went tI plug it in, I discovered the previous owner had wired his range for 220V with a 3 prong cord. For the life of me, I cannot figure out where the hook up the 3 prongs to the back. Help!

Asked by: NurseJulie
It's a good thing that you did not plug your LG 5.4 cu. ft. Capacity Gas Single Oven Range with EvenJet™ Convection System, Model # LRG3095ST into that socket! This range is a 120V unit and should be plugged into it's own dedicated socket. If in doubt about the grounding of your home electrical system or how to connect the proper electrical cord, it is your personal responsibility and obligation to have that 220V outlet replaced with a properly grounded, three-prong outlet in accordance with the National Electrical Code. We strongly suggest that you have this unit installed and grounded by a qualified installer, according to the installation instructions and by qualified gas range installers or service technicians...^IFV

Oven preheat time

My oven seems to be taking longer to preheat can you tell me the average time it should take for the oven to get up to temperature? The other thing I would like to know is how can I test the temperature of the inside of my oven if I don't use a thermometer from the grocery store, what do you recommend?
Asked by: KellyJ
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this gas range. Our service documentation does not provide for an average time frame for the preheating function of this oven. It is expected to reach the desired temperature in fewer than 5 minutes. This oven does not have a thermometer of its own, by which readings might be tested.

does there need to be room on the sides of the oven? (how much more than the 29 15/16 do I need to allow?)

Asked by: shawnd
If you have cabinets with the upper drawers to the sides of the range, you need to have additional 1/8" to allow the drawers to open.

My 3095SW Gas Range

I do not want to use the self-cleaning feature on my LG gas range. The manual recommends scouring pads - are SOS pads ok? What other products do you recommend for the interior oven, including the interior glass door? I do not want to use the self-clng feature due to fumes and the recommendation that a window be cracked open or a fan be used. Thanks!
Asked by: LGConsumer1
I apologize, but no; it is not recommended to use SOS pads, as they are basically steel wool. The owner’s manual states, in multiple places, not to use steel wool pads, as this will cause damage to the oven.
