What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks and Cooks Great love this range. Have never had a gas stove before and my husband has tried to talk me into one everytime we need to buy a stove. We were building a new house, went by Sams club one day and saw LG appliances now at Sams and Loved the look of them. I was sold. I love it

Rated 2 out of 5 by from They don’t make them like they used to anymore At first when I bought this stove I was in love! But now it’s a month later since I purchased this pretty oven and already the burners are turning a brown stain (on the fake stainless steel around the burner, the black iron plate on top of the burner looks horrible! The paint seems to burn and peel off. Same for the grates on the top. I’m so disgusted. I spent so much money on this for a month later it too look cheap and old. I can’t even find any place on here to replace these cheaply made parts. This stove only looks for for show sucks for use.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Watch Out Sorry I wrote on another range (electric wrong one). I bought this gas range in October 2017. I had a very old 70's gas range that had no features. I was so excited about this range. The top is easy to clean, food does't fall inside where you can't clean. I have never had a range so nice. I read the user manual have it close at hand when I use a new feature. I am so disgusted when I went to clean the griddle this morning I turned it over and the plastic piece fell out I put it back in keeps falling out. I tried to post a picture but it wiped everything out. I shudder to think what is next. My old no frills 1970's range lasted all these years at this rate I'll have to buy a new one in 3 years!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Smoke coming out of oven I purchase this oven a week ago and used it for the first time. When the oven was preheating, there was so much smoke coming out from the top it activated my smoke detectors. I used it again last night and smoke continues to come out of the oven. I contacted support and they said this was normal. There's also a strong "chemical" type odor emanating. When will it stop?

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cooks ok but controls cheap and inadequate! We bought this stove about 6 weeks ago. I find the display ridiculous! Electronics are so good now, why would LG ruin this stove with this cheap display. You actually have to stand and hold a button down to scroll up and down to your temperature . This takes a lot of time and it's hard to get it to stop right where you want it. Just amazing you can't just punch in the numbers and time. Not many choices either. Top is also difficult to keep clean. Poor design. I am so disappointed.

Just started using our new gas lg stove. Couple questions. 1) is it normal to smell gas as the stove ignites burners? 2) is it normal for the oven to kick on and off during operation?

1) Press Clock. 2) Press +/– button to set the time of day. 3) Press Start. NOTE •• The time of day cannot be changed during a timed baking. •• If no other keys are pressed within 25 seconds of pressing Clock, the display reverts to the original setting. •• If the display time is blinking, there may have been a power failure. Reset the time. ^CP

How do you clean the top of range by burners off?  What do you recommend?

Asked by: Knebrant
Page 36 of your owner's manual for the LG Black Stainless Steel Series 5.4 cu. ft. Capacity Gas Single Oven Range with EvenJet™ Fan Convection and EasyClean®, Model # LRG3193BD has explicit instructions on how to clean the Cooktop Surface. The three separate grates should be removed and washed regularly after spillovers. They can be washed in hot, soapy water and rinsed with clean water and they are dishwasher safe. The Cooktop surface should not be lifted and it can be washed and rinsed as soon as the surface has cooled if foods with high acid or sugary content have been spilled because they can cause a dull spot. Other spills such as oil or grease spattering can be washed with soap and water, then rinsed and polished with a dry cloth...^IFV

Does this cooking range runs by both electricity as well as Gas?

Asked by: Atalantic Chowdhury
The LG Black Stainless Steel Series 5.4 cu. ft. Capacity Gas Single Oven Range with EvenJet™ Fan Convection and EasyClean®, Model # LRG3193BD still has to be plugged into its own dedicated 120 Volt, 60 Hz, properly grounded circuit protected by a 15 or 20 Amp circuit breaker, or slow blow fuse since the controls are electronic controls but the burners all use gas...^IFV
