What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with purchase I've had the stove for a month and am very happy with it. I especially like the grill burner and plate. The convection oven is great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Range Very nice and good quality range. There are two flaws: 1. Burner Heads - They start to show some stains and impossible to clean them. 2. The NFC tap and LG app. It's pretty much useless because 80% of times it fails and what's the point of program something on the phone and physically get to the stove to tap and after several tries get it to do something. Not sure why they didn't do it using WiFi because it's much easier and all devices including iPhones could use the feature which is limited to Androids with NFC at the moment. Other than these, so far so good and we are happy with our purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun to use We bought this LG gas range after many hours of research. So far I've really enjoyed it, the high temp burners and the easy to use control panel are a big plus. We're still getting used to the oven, it will take a little time to figure it out. Only have owned a month, at this time would definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features! I bought this oven a month ago and I'm so happy I did. I just love the convection features and the easy clean feature. I always wanted a oven with 5 burners and this one is perfect. I love the fact that it has 3 racks in the oven and it is spacious.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Workhorse I've only been using this range for 1 month but it seems pretty great at doing what it's supposed to do. I cook several times a week. I love the huge oven interior, warming drawer and the super hot burners. I don't love the tunes it plays when the oven is done preheating or the timer ends--it's a melody rather than a beep. So far it appears to be a good buy for its price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still getting to know this range So far it seems to be an improvement over our old range particularly for baking so that is a good thing. I cook and bake a lot so have had a chance to put the range through a few of its paces in the last 10 days since it was installed. Uncertain about the ProBake feature as yet. Every range seems to have little quirks and differences and part of living with and using one means making adjustments in how we do things. I've found it is best to keep turning whatever is in the oven so that the side closest to the oven burner doesn't become overdone. This is particularly true of some more delicate baked goods. I have found that placement of the racks is very important and the second slot from the bottom is the placement I have found to be most useful for general use. One more slot toward the top of the oven which would be closer to the middle of the oven can result in tops of some items being browned too quickly. I want to test the oven with an oven thermometer and plan to purchase one next week. The oven may be running a bit too hot. I have tested the convection bake mode as well as regular bake mode and have tested the warming drawer. The heat in the warming drawer seems just right for keeping food warm. I make my own pizza and tried the pizza setting but thought it was not quite hot enough for the style pizza we like. I use a large stone which usually remains on the bottom shelf in my oven. Wound up switching the oven from pizza to regular bake using my preferred settings. I think the pizza setting might be good for those who purchase frozen pizza but since we never do it is doubtful I will use the setting much. Not particularly crazy about the center burner and the griddle for the stove top. I did try the griddle out for pancakes. The heating of the griddle is very uneven which is disappointing. I would have preferred to have a range with a small simmer burner in the center rather than the long oval which will probably rarely be used. I tried using the quick clean feature and I guess it is okay but only for small clean ups. I didn't have much in the way of splatters or spills but didn't find it all that great. I thought the oven would be a bit more warm than it was when I opened it at the end of the cycle particularly because there were warnings in the manual. I wound up running it twice. I have yet to try the Self Clean cycle. I am not crazy about black cook tops since they are a lot more work to keep looking nice but at least the black is confined to just the cooktop and not on more places on the range. I do like the size and placement of the cook top burner control knobs. The technician who did the LPG conversion adjusted the simmer setting as low as he was able to do it but it still may be a bit too high. I notice generally for a lot of my cooking it is best of keep the setting around 2 or lower on all of the burners unless I want to boil water or have a reason to cook something more quickly. We have noticed that this range really heats up the kitchen, much more so than the range we had previously. I will be curious to see if I note a change in our electric bill because of how often the fan runs in the oven even on regular bake. Thus far I am pretty satisfied with the range. I would have preferred a gas range with no electronics but they no longer seem to exist or at least in my price range. Some of the really low end ranges seem to have very bad ratings as far as baking, etc. and how a range bakes is important to me. This range was within my price range and as long as it holds up for the long haul I know I can work around any small quirks, as would be the case with any range.

Does the LRG4115ST have a conversion for LP gas? Do I need to buy any additional parts or are they included?

Asked by: John58
The LG 6.3 cu. ft. Gas Single Oven Range with ProBake Convection®, EasyClean® and Warming Drawer, Model # LRG4115ST comes with an LP Nozzle Conversion Kit attached to the back of the unit. It is recommended that the conversion be made by a qualified LP installer or your gas company before attempting to operate the range. The range is designed to operate at a pressure of 10" of water column on Liquefied Propane (LP) gas. The pressure supplied to the regulator must be between 10" and 13" of water column. When checking for correct operation of the regulator, the inlet pressure must be at least 1" more than the operating (manifold) pressure as given above...^IFV

What is the best way to clean build up on the griddle

Asked by: DMount
We appreciate your interest in this gas range and its griddle. This accessory should be constructed of cast aluminum with a non-stick finish over it. Most any spill or build-up should come clean using hot, soapy water and a soft cloth. Do not use abrasives, as this could damage the coating.

Once my oven is on how do I change the temperature?

Asked by: Patti pags
We appreciate your interest in this gas range. The adjustment of the oven temperature, after a heating cycle has already begun, should be possible by simply pressing the BAKE button again, and then re-adjusting the temperature. Press the START button, once complete, in order to enact the desired changes.
