Clock would not stay illuminated had to return,
I purchased this microwave four days ago, The clock would not stay Illuminated had to return for a new Microwave, Another thing I noticed is the frame around the silver door push button is pulling away from the frame. This is an issue I had with the same model I had for over 6 years and LG still has not fixed that issue, other than that the microwave works great.

Making rattling, arcing sound, display flashes
Barely 1 year old and it started to make a loud arcing sound about 3 months ago, and now display flashes at random. Expect it's will fail soon and purchased with the expectation it would last more than 1 year. We purchased this brand new and it has a 1 year warranty which expired in March 2016, we bought it March 2015. Rattle started right around March 2016, and display recently started making a flashing pattern seen in video while arcing sound persists.

Just over a year, it's rattling inside, we can here an electrical arcing, and now the display flashes bright and then dim. We fear it will die soon and we expected to get more use than 1 year from a brand new lowes purchase.

Features: Good vs Bad
The microwave performs well; however the panel is hard to read. My husband cannot see to make selections. We used our previous microwave as a clock, but this clock does not stay lit when the oven is not in use.
The appearance is attractive and easy to maintain. There are many features and they perform well. The price was the best that we found for any comparable microwaves.

This was made for me!
I bought this microwave over one month ago. WOW!! It does not disappoint! Every option I ever wanted is right here! From softening butter and ice cream perfectly to cooking excellent bacon, to even melting cheese, this fits my needs! No more guessing, or having overdone or half done foods! I cannot say enough about this LG Microwave.

Is there any way to keep the clock on? After 5 minutes, the clock disappears until you open the door or push one of the buttons on the keypad.
We appreciate your interest in this microwave oven. According to the information in the owner’s manual, the display will automatically turn off after 5 minutes of idleness, depending upon the model. Otherwise, press the CUSTOM SET button, press 2 for CLOCK ON/OFF, and then press 1 for the CLOCK ON selection. If this option is not available, then this will remain as default operation.

When I open the door to microwave why does it continue to run? It continues to run after the clock has counted down and the door it open. In the closed position it only runs if there is time on the clock.

This microwave has a red display clock which looks terrible in my kitchen. Is there a way to turn it off or change the color?

Free air flow around the oven is important so you should allow at least 4 inches of space at the top, sides, and back of the oven for proper ventilation. Why does my microwave beep every 5 minutes and how do I stop it?

is there an interior light for model LSRM2010ST? also is there a 27" trim kit available?
The Optional Trim Kit MK2030F (30" Trim Kit) is the only one. It does have Interior Lighting.
