LG doesn't even have the drive on the Support Site
Date:June 3, 2011
Best Features: Nothing
Cons: Bad Software and spasmatic preformance. No Support
"I have 20+ years of Mid-Rage SA experience. I went looking for driver updates and this model isn't even listed on the LG Website http://lgknowledgebase.com/kb/index.php?View=entry&EntryID=6154
Software that is included is basically worthless.
Even after you find a package that will work with Blue-Ray discs performance is embarrassingly sloppy. (Schismatic Reads)
Will not interface properly with NeroPRO 10 or Roxio Pro 2011."

Best Features: fast speed and everything else
Cons: after you tweek it nothing
"this player is pritty easy to install in your computer and has great blu-ray quality 1080p just make shure you have a good graphics card otherwise the images wont look as good or wont work at all and make shure you have a hd display using an hdmi or dvi cable. you also may have to tweek the video and display settings lick i did and you will get a cristal perfect picture. i love my new drive and use it for everything."

Optical drive
Date:April 2, 2011
Best Features: blu-ray burner
Cons: cyberlink software
"Hooked everything up and worked without even putting in the install disk. Problem is the media player won't play blu-ray so you have to either 1) install with the supplied disk or 2) get your own 3rd party software. Another problem is the cyberlink software is... outdated, really annoying with it's pop-ups and the fact it only outputs in 4:3 aspect ratio and if you want say, 16:9 you have to "upgrade". So in other words, it's not even worth watching blu-ray because the image quality sucks to say the least. There's a lot of software that installs and I like to keep my computer clean so that bothers me. Anyway, the drives great just wish the included software was simplified."
