iF Design Award
The International Forum (iF) design award has been going for more than 50 years now. This German award is presented annually to products that demonstrate outstanding or highly innovative design qualities, including eco-friendly or safety-conscious designs. LG has been fortunate enough to be awarded this highly acclaimed prize for many of its products over the years.
International Design Excellence Awards
IDEA is the most influential design award in North America and therefore of great importance for LG, given the size of the North American market. The award recognizes products of superior design quality as well as products, that have achieved exceptional status on the market.
reddot Design Award
The German Red Dot Design Award dates back to 1955 and is one of Europe's two top design awards. World-famous designers assess the merits of contending products and discuss them in great detail before identifying the winners. Once again this year, LG reaped the rewards of its dedicated design teams.
GD Korea
Japan's Good Design is the leading and oldest design award in Asia, and usually serves as a reliable indicator of design trends in home appliances and the electronics industry. It also places great importance on a product's ergonomic elements and superior finish.
