Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 329 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointed at 2 Year Mark Shortly after the 2-yr mark, the nylon coating on the upper rack split open and I now have rust from the metal frame within. There has always been some issues with the ability to clean some items thoroughly, especially some silverware items and plastic storage tubs. That problem has now extended to plates and other items in the racks. Also, after the drying cycle items still feel damp and sometimes have to be wiped to further dry upon removal from the racks. I almost feel like this item was designed to work okay for 2 years and then just stop functioning adequately. This particularly irritates me because I had purchased a 2-yr warranty that expired shortly before I started noticing these deficiencies. At this time, would not recommend an LG dishwasher although I own several other IG items. May 14, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very Disappointing!!! We purchased this dishwasher 3 years ago and it has been the worst purchase I have ever had - honestly. It has the strangest and most annoying problems - smells inside after cycle finishes, dishes are never clean, soap does not dispense - then there are the big issues such as shutting itself off and causing the circuit breaker to shut off (yes, installed professionally and correctly!), water not getting hot and motor making noises. Although I have not yet had anyone come to repair it, someone who also owns an LG dishwasher told me to run the hotwater before I run a cycle???? Really?! At this point I am not even using it and I need to call for repairs, but I am angry that I have to do so after only owning this for such a short time. LG should be doing some customer satisfaction recon and reimbursing customers who bought this appliance. Do they read thier customer reviews and see all the dissappointed customers who purchased this product? I bought this because it was on sale, but I will never buy another LG again. I am redoing the kitchen in my main residence and in my second home and LG products will not be considered. May 28, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Very disappointed!!! Had problems in the beginning like some others with the soap still in the door and dishes not getting clean. But I changed to Finish brand soap and it helped the problem. Only two people in household and I never run it until it was full. So dishes were always rinsed and then we ran the machine no more than 3 times per week. Less than 3 years old and the sump pump is out and will cost more than I'm willing to put into this product. NEVER will I purchase anything LG again!! March 3, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disapointed in Product Old dishwasher died. Replaced it with new LG. Does not clean as well and leaves soap in dispencer and on door. Good quality and looks great in kitchen, easy to use but just doesn't live up to the hipe for the money. February 14, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by HE about half of the time HE error, says to check PC board. Water does not drain, dishes still wet. January 10, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Buyer BEWARE!! This dishwasher is nothing more than a pretty cabinet. We have used it for what is designed to do, however it never performs!! After running it 2-3 times, the dishes are still grimmy & typically there is soap in the door or the bottom of the washer. This purchase was supposed to be an upgrade from our 10+ year old machine. Supposed to be.... Two years later, I still long for my old one back. Especially now that the dang thing will not even start. It lights up & dings like it always has, but nothing. Maybe it realized the horrible job it used to do washing just wasn't worth its own effort! Oh well... Moving on, hopefully to a better machine!!! August 20, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Worst product I have ever purchased. It is a good thing this product is discontinued. The dishwasher is quiet as advertised. Nothing comes out clean. All dishes and silverware must be hand washed before placed in the dishwasher. I didn't even bother to register this dishwasher since I will replace it rather than ever have it repaired. Rated 2 out of 5 by poor cleaning The dishes have to be washed more then once to come clean. The soap doesn't always desolve. went over recommendation on web site still working on this. October 18, 2012
