When you buy a dishwasher, you want something reliable that you can count on. Because the Direct Drive Motor uses fewer moving parts and operates more efficiently, LG confidently backs the motor with a 10-year limited warranty.

quiet operation

quiet operation

LG’s technological advances, like the Inverter DirectDrive motor and an advanced self-cleaning disposer system, were designed with quiet in mind. At 48dB, this dishwasher is among the quietest dishwashers in its class.

Get wise

It's unlikely you'll experience any problems with your LG dishwasher, but if you ever do, this feature helps the service center diagnose problems over the phone, or with a smart phone app, helping you minimize costly, inconvenient service calls.

What People Are Saying

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 237 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Extremely quiet. This dishwasher is very easy to load/unload. I am extremely pleased at how quiet the unit is. August 17, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Didn't last a week I am a HUGE LG fan. In my old home, I had all LG appliances, LG phones, tablets, TV's and BD players. This one appliance has made me re-think my loyalty to LG. The dishwasher worked awesome for a week then the ever popular LE code popped up. Google this code and others, you will see there are a lot of error codes for LG's dishwashers. LG even lists it in the literature that accompanies the dishwasher. I have called both LG and Lowes and now I have to wait almost two weeks for a repair man to come out. So in the interim I have a 700 piece of junk sitting in my kitchen. I was planning on buying a new LG refrigerator, washer and dryer but I will re-think this before I make that purchase. Too bad it seems their quality has gone down hill since I first fell in love with LG. Maybe I am the exception but there are a lot of poor /bad reviews out there about LG's products now. Very disappointed. August 15, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by very quiet and spacious This unit is so quiet you could keep it in your bedroom and the large cabinet allows for tall items on the upper shelf. August 2, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quiet This is the quietest dishwasher we have ever owned in 40 years. August 1, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Some nice features, very attractive and quiet Installed dishwasher door leaked on first run, second run it did not pump water out, at this time we requested a new dishwasher and it was supplied. Second dishwasher seems to be fine. I hope this continues. August 1, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by So quiet! So quiet, the only way you know its running is when the music plays when it finishes. July 29, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Dishwasher! Very stylish. It has all the cleaning options I need. I was amazed how quiet it is during all cycles. Dishes, pots, and glasses come out spotless. I feel I made a great choice with this appliance. July 28, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Does not clean right I bought this dishwasher a few months ago and this dishwasher aggravates me because it does not clean right. I expected better since I do have other LG products. I rinse my dishes and still it leaves food. I have tried different settings to rectify this issue. I use quality detergent and rinse aid and still it continues to leave food. I must admit a few times the dishes have all come out very clean so it has done a good job before. We eat blueberries and even though the dish is rinsed put in dishwasher, when it comes out the bowl has a tinge of blue. I look forward to one day it breaking completely and getting a different brand! July 25, 2015

Answer:
Rear leg adjustment screws are on the front of the unit, by each of the front legs. Screws are connected to a worm drive that rotate the rear legs when twisted.
Right side raises the opposite direction of the left side since they are mirror images.
I believe right side was clockwise, and left side was counterclockwise.

One helpful thing to do is to test this before installing so you can verify they work correctly and confirm the direction you should twist each. When installed, lean the dishwasher forward to relieve pressure on the back feet so they raise more easily.

Answer:
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced in this matter. Locate the back feet of the dishwasher. There should be a small, box housing around the adjustable legs. On the back of this “box” should be a Phillips-head screw. This screw should be that which is needed for adjusting the rear legs. If you still have difficulty, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000.

Rinse Cycle

I know the quick wash is the shortest wash cycle, but I don't see a simple rinse on those days/nights that the dishwasher isn't quite full enough to run, but dishes still need to be rinsed......So question... Is there a rinse cycle or a way to just rinse the dishes???

Remember dishwashers are not scrubbers and only rinse dishes. It is recommended to always scrub and rinse as much debree from all dishes prior to loading.

It does have a half wash function, where it only washes on the top rack. So that smaller loads maybe washed.

I apologize, but no; this dishwasher does not have a RINSE ONLY cycle available. It does, however, have an UPPER ONLY cycle which will allow washing for only the upper rack of dishes, instead of a full cycle.

Answer:
It should not do this. You either have a wiring problem in your house, it's a bad GFCI, or it's bad wiring in your dishwasher. I would consult an electrician to diagnose, then contact LG if it is their unit.

Contact LG directly if you have issues like this instead of posting a question online that may take a while for someone to answer. Safety is important and a problem like this could be the symptom of a potentially serious problem.

Answer:
Have a service technician and check you appliance. Also, when arranging for the technician to come out ask have the technician check your GFCI recepticle as it too can be bad. Replace or repair what is deficient.

Answer:
If you are not comfortable, have an electrician check the junction box in the front of the machine behind the toe-kick. I noticed while installing our dishwasher that the electrical wires come into the junction box without any grommet. I added one because there is a chance the insulation on the wiring got cut and a short maybe occurring. Also, check for water in that area - there maybe a leak under the dishwasher.
