Answer:
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced in this matter. Locate the back feet of the dishwasher. There should be a small, box housing around the adjustable legs. On the back of this “box” should be a Phillips-head screw. This screw should be that which is needed for adjusting the rear legs. If you still have difficulty, please contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000.

Real stainless steel. Marks can be eradicated by using mild GooGone.

Answer:
I think it is stainless. The strip at the top is the only part you need to touch when operating and opening it, so it's easy to keep clean. I used the aerosol stainless spray like twice in the month I've had the dishwasher and it looks great. I don't have little kids though!

Answer:
The PF indicates that there was a power failure. This function protects the dishwasher in the event that the power goes out or the power to the unit is disrupted. When power is returned and a button is pushed, this will display for 10 seconds and then go away. The unit does not appear to automatically restart where it ended.

I notice when looking at the dishwasher there is no heating element. How do the dishes dry then and how does it compare to dishwashers that do have a heating element?

Also are there any video that show how the drying works?

Answer:
The drying is accomplished through the heat built up during wash and rinse. The wash and rinse water are heated continuously through the cycles. Cycles take a little while longer and there is usually a bit of water remaining on tops of glasses, etc. Need to make sure cups and the like are placed in racks upside down to avoid having a full container of water.

Answer:
It uses the HYBRID DRYING SYSTEM - This system effectively dries dishes without the use of a heating element that would increase energy consumption.

The Rinse Aid will shorten the drying-time. So we do recommend to always use rinse aid.
The Rinse Aid indicator light will illuminate if the level of rinse aid in the dishwasher is low. Add rinse aid if the level is low to maintain the effectiveness of the dry cycle.

It also has an EXTRA DRY option:
Select the EXTRA DRY option for better drying performance. This option adds 60 minutes of extra drying time to the cycle.

The power button doesn't seem to work right away.

Almost every time I use the machine, I have to play around with "cancel" or "child lock" because the power button won't turn the machine on. I am not sure exactly what I am doing to finally get it to work, but it takes me about 2 or 3 minutes each time. If there is a way to disable the child lock or something, I'd be fine with that. Is there a way to tell what I am doing wrong?

Answer:
If you have a smart phone there is an app to do diagnostic problem solving with this dishwasher. Go to LG website (LG.com) and check out the app information for your model. Call their customer service number if you need further assistance. Phone number can be found online or in your dishwasher's product manual that came with your dishwasher. Also the manual should have the steps to take to disable the child lock. LG website has a lot of information on use of your dishwasher, plus videos.

Answer:
The CHILD LOCK feature helps prevent your settings from being changed during a cycle. If the dishwasher is already powered off, the CHILD LOCK feature will not be active. It is activated and deactivated by pressing and holding the EXTRA RINSE and DELAY START buttons simultaneously for 3-5 seconds, until the CHILD LOCK indicator activates.
