Answer:
Yup, you need to buy them. It did not come with the hoses. That said, they are very cheap and easily obtained at Home Depot (though Best Buy sells them too).

Answer:
Yes. If you buy the washer at Best Buy, they should provide you with all of the accessories you need. About a $90 cost

Answer:
Most washers include hot/cold water hose. Since you are posting this question with a dryer and I am not certain which washer you are interested in, please refer to the correct model number of the washer which you are inquiring about. This way we will be able to look up if it comes with cold/hot water hoses or if you would have to purchase them extra. Thank you.

Answer:
You can open it to the right or switch it and open it to the left...depending which side your washer is on to make it easier to transfer clothes. It doesn't not fold down..just left or right.

During installion you can decide what direction is best for your door to open. I bet you can move the hinges on the door to either side as it suits your needs.

Answer:
I purchased this dryer 6 weeks ago and I also tried to open it by pulling it down the first couple of times. It is a little deceiving but mine does open to the right and if you want to you can reverse it to open to the left. It really is a great dryer!

Answer:
Yes, it does open to the side... and reversible means that you can change the hinges - so if needed, the door can open to the other side :)

Answer:
The Sales Representative was correct. We do not recommend the use of dryer sheets in our washing machines as the fibers being pulled off the sheets can form a layer on the moisture sensors and not allow proper operation of the unit. If fabric softener is needed, we recommend using a liquid fabric softener in the appropriate compartment in the LG washing machine.

It is a front loading lint filter... inside the the dryer.. just in front of the door. It has a nice size filter screen as compared to my old dryer.

I need to see installation diagrams for dryer DLE1101W, especially for side and bottom alternatives for vent. There is no information on your website and the manual and instructions are not listed in the "manuals" section. I would also like to know recommended clearances for space between washer + dryer. Thank you for your help.

Answer:
I used a periscope style vent from the dryer's center bottom outlet to my house vent line off to the end of the dryer. It required about 2.5 inches of space to the rear of the dryer. Air flow is very good with this arrangement.

On the washer side of the dryer I have a half inch of clearance between them - no problems.

Answer:
I have very little space between washer and dryer. They seem very solid and don't move at all when in operation, It appears that there is an area for a side vent, but I use the back vent. Do not see anything for a bottom vent.

Function meets fabulous as LG rethinks every aspect of traditional dryer design. Angles are softened with streamlined contours. And instead of a panel in the back with knobs and dials, LG has designed an Easy Front Control Panel with LED Display. It’s never been easier to choose the ideal setting, including the handy Wrinkle Care option when you’re pressed for time. Because efficiency means as much to you as style, LG brings you 7.3 cu. ft. capacity. And larger loads save you time and energy. How sweet is that?
