Answer:
According to the owner’s manual, on page 19, of this unit, the dryer has its own terminal block that
must be connected to a separate 240 VAC, 60-Hertz, single-phase circuit, fused at 30 amperes (the circuit must be fused on both sides of the line). Electrical service for the dryer should be of the maximum rate voltage listed on the nameplate. Do not connect the dryer to a 110-, 115-, or a 120-volt circuit.

Answer:
If Wrinkle care is selected, the dryer will tumble briefly every few minutes to help prevent wrinkles from setting in the clothes. There are no specific time settings associated with this feature.

WE are installing a DLE2140 in a small space. There is lots of room in front to open the door, but it will be sitting in a well that limits the amount of space behind.
EXACTLY how much depth do I need for the dryer plus exhaust vent? Is there a shorter vent that can be used?

Answer:
The recommended clearances for a dryer can vary depending on the location and type of installation being used. Generally speaking, all dryers need at least 5 inches of space behind the unit. All specific clearances are available in the Owner’s Manual that can be downloaded from our website at www.lg.com.

Do I need to use any special detergent with the DLE2140W?

Answer:
It is not recommended to use dryer sheets (fabric softener sheets) in LG dryers. This is because the chemicals in the sheets can collect on the humidity sensors inside the drum, preventing proper humidity sensing. This can cause the unit to shut off before load is dry. They can also block air flow and cover the sensors.
