What People Are Saying

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy this appliance After 1 1/2 year dryer keeps stopping anytime. Nothing clogged, filter clean etc. Worst appliance ever for us.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hard Working Dryer This dryer is very attractive -- especially next to its matching washer. I advise against buying the stand to raise the height, because together, the two machines make a very good folding surface. If the laundry is removed immediately after you hear the lovely tune which tells when the load is finished, the laundry is ready for folding with minimal ironing needed. I have found that the sensor sometimes declares things, which are still damp, to be dry, although the TOWELS setting always finishes drying bath towels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy courtesy of a neighbor We were thinking about replacing our 11 year old Maytag dryer, and stopped at Lowes. We were looking and liked the LGs. The girl manning the department on a Sunday morning was the daughter of our neighbor and a house sitter and friend for a decade plus. We told her what we wanted and she told us to hang on and hauled us to the desk. They had a one only, closeout dryer at 45% off. So she helped us find a great, top of the line model for less than the mid-range machines we were considering. We got a lot more bells and whistles to learn, but we are really happy with our dryer!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Many great settings I bought this dryer along with an LG washer and am very pleased with both. I like it can sense when the load is dry and the many very useful settings for fabric type, low to high temperature, timed settings and more. The lint trap is very easy to access. I am completely happy with this dryer and would happily recommend it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sensor Problems This dryer takes cares of large loads efficiently. My only problem with this dryer is that I have to periodically take out the lint filter and wipe that thin area inside the machine with a damp cloth. The sensor gets "clogged" and the dryer will run and run way after the clothes are dry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great dryer for the price I bought the set of the LG washer and dryer. The dryer is pretty good. The sensor for drying come sin handy so there are never any damp clothes in the dryer. The only downfall I have found in the last two years of owning this is towels. When drying towels they don't always get dry and have to be ran through a second time which is annoying at times. Even though the towels are an issue I still love this dryer and would recommend it to anyone.

Check filter light is on. Pulled lint tray out, cleaned out from front. Turned around and vacuumed from back and entire hose. Light still on. Is there another place to clean or another filter somewhere? LG DLE2050W MODEL

Is there a limitation on the length of cord to use on the DLE2250W. It looks like I will need a cord 9 to 10 ft in length.

Want to make sure this will not harm the unit nor void the warranty.
Asked by: Lyla
Depends on where the outlet is. We used a standard cord from the store. If you need more, check with LG or maybe rearrange stuff?

My dryer smells like its burning!

I just hooked up my brand new dryer, first load to be dried, and it smells like burnt rubber. It smells on the inside of the drum and the clothes smell like burnt rubber also.
