Overall it is a fairly good dryer but it has it's drawbacks. The lint screen is a small issue, but the big issue is the lint screen cavity. We started noticing that loads of clothes would not be dried as well as they should have been. We took to thoroughly cleaning out the lint screen cavity and the drying returned to normal. We first us a vacuum with an attachment that is small enough to get to the bottom of the cavity, then we cover the lint area with a towel and blow air thru the cavity to the outside. Hope this helps.

Very poor quality lint filter
The lint filter does not fit snugly, so its edges chip off and then catch, twist and tear clothing. I am on my fourth filter and the filters have ruined nine articles of clothing.
The steam cycle doesn't always work.
The dryer never gets very hot so a load can take up to two hours to dry, which makes it not environmentally friendly.

Dryer is nearly USELESS
We have had this unit for several years. Washer is OK, but the dryer on permanent press and normal temperature leaves the clothes very wet. I have to run the load twice to get them even close to dry. If I run them on "more dry", the clothes shrink. Loads aren't too small or too big, so that isn't the issue. Out of frustration I actually started line drying my clothes. Sometimes on towels and jeans it won't even dry on the default setting. I hate this thing. I'll never buy another LG product again if I have my way.

This is a great dryer with every feature you could imagine, but still easy to use. It does a great job of drying and even tells you how much time is left on the cycle. Another great feature is the steam cycle which is great for drying fancy table clothes to get out any wrinkles. Also the lint trap is in easy to use location and cleans very easy.
