Answer:
No. You have to buy the cord separately. I found this to be the case for all of the dryers I looked at. I suspect the reason is because while most newer homes have the 4-prong outlet, some older homes still need the 3-prong plug. In fact, I was asked at the store which type of outlet I had, so check before you order the dryer.

Answer:
At least in TX the cord is not included so you have to buy one. Also if Home Depot installs it they require you to buy a new cord.

Answer:
No, it is purchased separately and you need to purchase the correct one to fit your type of outlet. Do not try to use the old one from your previous dryer as doing so is not safe and may void the dryer warranty.

Answer:
There is a pullout tray, similar to the detergent tray on a modern washer, that holds a removable reservoir with a screened port on top. It works similar to other steam appliances such as clothes steamers or carpet cleaners, in that you take the reservoir to a sink and add water through the screen to a prescribed line on the tank, then reinsert the reservoir in the dryer's tray, and push the tray in. When you select one of the Steam options for a drying cycle, the dryer creates the steam using the water from the reservoir. This machine will also tell you, I believe, if your reservoir is too low for the job at hand and needs refilling.

There are no special components available on board for hooking the machine to a faucet for the steam purpose.

Answer:
There is a small reservoir you have to fill to have steam. This is true steam, the ones that hook up to the water faucet use hot water, not steam.

There is a drawer on the front of the dryer that you pull out and fill a container with water for the steam feature. Very easy to use. I highly recommend this dryer.

The V is for the "graphite steel" color; most appliances that appear to be, or are, stainless steel are more expensive than the same unit in another color.

Answer:
We appreciate your interest in these electric dryers. The specifications of these two units are exactly the same. The only difference, as denoted by the difference of the last letter of the model number, is the color of the cabinet. The W denotes WHITE, while the V is for Graphite Steel coloration.

How do I use the sensory dry feature?

Does the sensory dry feature happen automatically with every load? If not, how do I use it? The only option listed on the dryer itself is steam clean/sesnory dry...what if I don't want to steam clean but I wan to use the sensory dry feature? For instance, I am drying a load of towels...I would normal just select the "towel" setting, but why wouldn't I always want to use the sensory dry option?

Answer:
The cycle options on the left-hand side of the dial are the sensor-dry cycles and the ones on the right side are the timed (manual) cycles. I use the sensor cycles as much as possible since they monitor the heat and dryness of the clothes so I feel they have less wear and tear and are more energy efficient. Sometimes you want to use the manual settings because on some of the presets you don't have access to all of the options, like drying temp for delicates. If you want higher temp than Low you need to use the manual setting. I believe steam is an option on almost every cycle, the is a steam button to press to add it to your manual cycle.

Answer:
The sensory dry is automatic. When you select a cycle, notice what 'dry level' is lit. If it is set to 'normal' your load will stop when your clothes are sensed as being dry. You can change this to make your clothes more or less dry. If you don't want the machine to determine when your load is dry you will need to select a timed dry cycle where it will stop after a certain lenght of time regardless of the dryness of the clothes. Hope this helped!

I have some details for the usual energy consumption for the washer but not the dryer I bought. I think this should be available on the web site for people considering whether to buy or what model to buy.
