This dryer works great. large capacity, lots of options(from delicates to towels, timed drying to air drying, etc.) The only reason I knocked off a star was that some comforters needed to be run through more than once

Great Dryer. Saves time with the auto sensing. Very quiet. The options that they have make it a no brainer or in other words, husband friendly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by J. Gambill Review on both Washer & Dryer
LG Model: DLG1102W - 7.3 cu. ft. Dryer (Gas)
LG Model: WT1101CW - 4.3 cu. ft. Washer
PURCHASE DATE: 10/17/2014
Although I am crazy mad in love with my 7.3 cu. ft. Ultra Large Capacity Top Load Dryer (the best dryer I have ever owned), I am still trying to accept my 4.3 cu. ft. Large Capacity Top Load Washer Front Control Panel and the low water level. I always wash just about everything on the Bulky/Bedding cycle because the tub fills up with water all the way. On all the other settings the water level barely covers the clothes (of course I stare into the glass top to watch the washing process) and I keep seeing the same clothes on the top that don't seem to go down into the water. I hope someone can explain this process.Till I feel clothes are being washed at the cycle the washer buttons suggest, I am not comfortable with the water level on Cotton, Heavy Duty, etc. All and all they are both heavy duty, well made appliances and very quiet. Rated 5 out of 5 by Bob Excellent Value-Great Performer!
Excellent value-tons of features for the money!
Workmanship is tight and there's lots of room inside for loads of clothes. When it's washer time, I'll definitely find the matching unit!

Rated 4 out of 5 by DGTony modern, quiet, too automated - liked old machines
The dryer and its partner washer were bought because of space issues. We installed cabinetry over the washer and dryer when we remodeled our laundry a few years ago. We discovered that newer machines were taller and deeper than the old Kenmores and we looked for units that would fit in and not protrude into the aisle too far. The first LG washer's large lid couldn't open open under the cabinets and we got the front control models instead. The dryer is easy to use and quiet but the "sensor dry"often leaves shirt collars damp. My wife uses the "more dry" and "very dry" settings to get loads the way she wants them. A simple timer allowing you to pick 40 minutes, 60 minutes, etc. would be better than all the automation. Also, the wash and wear items often come out wrinkled.

I enjoy doing laundry now with my new dryer. It is easy to use. The front push buttons are convenient. The dryer has nice features. I've only had it about 5-6 weeks, but it has worked great on every load! Not a single load has been left wet, unless I chose to leave it wet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by walterczw Easy to operate, quiet and fast!
This machine has become my friend. I particularly like the little tune it plays for me when it is finished. I only wish it played the tune a little louder. Also, it would be nice if it could fold and put away the close.
