Answer:
The CHECK FILTER light will appear between every cycle, simply as a reminder to clear the lint filter before starting a new load. There is no need to try to “reset” this indicator. If the unit runs properly, then this is no cause for concern. If it will not start, then the unit may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....

dlg3744W - does not heat

Hi ... I have a dlg3744 dryer that we purchased about 4 years ago. It no longer heats though everything else seems to function. We have a technician coming out to the house on Monday but wanted to know if there was anything simple that might be reset in order to get the dryer to produce heat. The gas line is intact and the valve is on. It would appear to be functioning properly except for the heating unit.

Answer:
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this unit. If the unit is not heating, then it may be caused by a bad igniter, a bad control board, or it could be a clogged vent duct. Check the duct before the technician arrives, but it is likely that the service will still be necessary.

Dryer is stacked and is on top just started making loud rattling noise.
The noise gets quieter if you apply upward pressure on dryer.

It is level.

Door has play in it on the latch side but latch looks good

Drier is two years old and was left in my house when II bought it.
I already purchased a new door gasket and installed it but I have the same play on the latch side. You can push and pull the door in and out 1/4" after the door is closed. I closed the door on a paper napkin and could pull the napkin out without any resistance.

What could the issue be?
