Answer:
No, it does not. You should use bottled distiller water for the steam functions. There is no connection of the dryer to your water pipes.

Answer:
LG SteamDryers™ utilize a water cartridge in the same location as the detergent dispenser in the washer. This allows for easier installation, because you do not need to have a Y-connector to connect you dryer to a water source. Also, this prevents the safety hazard of leaks and flooding to your dryer from the water source. The water cartridge will last you 3-5 loads and will notify you when it needs to be refilled.

Yes, that is correct. But you should be certain to not engage any of the steam functions with the reservoir dry.

Answer:
It is not recommended to use Fabric Softeners in the dryer. Most frequently, we recommend adding the fabric softener to the wash cycle, as the machine is designed.

when using the drying rack is it normal for the drum to be turning?

Answers

Answer:
Yes, absolutely. The drum will turn regardless of the rack's presence, helping to circulate air around your clothes item. However, it is absolutely vital that vestiges of clothing (shirt arms, trouser legs, etc.) do not extend beyond the drying rack, or they may be caught by the rotating drum and damaged.

Answer:
No, the drum should not be turning when using the Dryer Rack. According to page 33 of the owner’s manual, NEVER use the rack with a tumble dry cycle. Use RACK DRY with items such as wool sweaters, silk, and lingerie, that should dry flat. RACK DRY can also be used with items that should not be tumble dry, such as gym shoes or stuffed animals. Press and hold the WRINKLE CARE button for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate the RACK DRY function.

Answer:
On the LG Gas Steam dryer DLGX3361W you do not need to "hook up" the steam feature. just pour tap water into a container in a pull out drawer as instructed in the manual. The manual also gives instructions on how to use the steam function.

Answer:
The steam is an easy feature to use. There is a water tray that you would manually fill on this unit, so there is no need for a water line or a plumber's assistance for steam functionality.
