What People Are Saying

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It doesn't dry well with smaller loads I bought the dryer in October, 2015. Unfortunately I didn't not notice that the cycles are not easily identified. The cycle is selected with a light and the lines to select are not clear. In addition it does not dry well when the loads are smaller. I keep having to keep drying the loads. They are stackable, but don't make the mistake we did, it's not very comfortable to use. It uses less space but like I said, they are uncomfortable to use. The washer is too low and the dryer is too high!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very very quiet and drying is excellent. I bought this unit on 12/2014. I have had cero issues with it. I had the exhaust hole mesh plugged with lint and the dryer gave me a code, checked my owners manual and told me to clean my vents. Problem solved! I clean my exhaust vent outside my house every other month since then. The dryer is very quiet. I have no doors for the dryer and washer, and with them both going, I can barely tell they are going from the living room with I about 10 feet away. I bought it at Sears. Very happy with Sears customer service, and this LG washer/dryer combo.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! The main feature I was looking for in a dryer was something that made my clothes not wet. But my husband found a great deal on this unit with all the bells and whistles. I am finding uses for all the features. I do find that the Normal Dry setting leaves clothes too damp to put in a drawer. But the Very Dry setting gets the job done. Also, if I wash clothes of different weights, i.e. jeans and t-shirts, the heavier items don't dry. The loads dry much faster than my old unit, but the sensors seems to dry to the lightest items in the load. So if you want to mix heavy items with light use the Time Dry instead. I have also dried a few shirts that are supposed to hang dry only. I use the delicate cycle with the Normal Dry setting and they come out slightly damp. This cuts down hang dry time significantly. And the huge capacity is great for washing pillows and comforters (Cal King). Now that it is finally cooler I am looking forward to trying to dry sweaters on the rack.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this dryer Excellent product. Bought the matching washer too. Of all the features I like the Steam Fresh and Steam Sanitize functions the most. The huge capacity is a real plus. The door does weep a little bit of the moisture when using the steam functions.

Will I damage the dryer if I use a gas line rated for 60k-75k btu.

Asked by: Jeff716
We do not have a listing for the BTU rating for a gas line. The unit does require a connection to 3/8" gas pipe, which may require an adapter to a standard 1/8” NPT Pipe Plug. This information can be found on page 22 of your Installation Guide. Most of our dryers run between 20,000 and 22,000 BTUh, depending upon the model, energy rating, etc. The specific rating will be listed on the model/serial number label on the unit itself.

Dryer is leaking water during operation. What could I check?

Asked by: SteveEge
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this dryer. From what location does the water appear to be leaking? If it is around the dispenser drawer or the door, then it would be recommended to check the seals for cleanliness, to prevent escape of steam. If the water is on the door, there is also the possibility of condensation when a very hot item comes in contact with cold air around it. If this does not appear to be the situation, then the unit may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at

On your gas dryer, is the exhaust vent the same as the dryer vent, or are there two separate vents to the exterior??

Asked by: BLDGS
There is only one vent, which should be run to the exterior.
