What People Are Saying

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 58 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by So far as good!! Easy to use and is drying my clothes!!!! Super Happy!!! July 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great features I like the design. Most important, I like the steam fresh cycle for my husband's shirts. The dryer matches WT1202CV. They make a great pair. July 16, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by I'm ironing more delicates Having to iron blouses that I didn't prior to this dryer. They have go go in on 'air' as I can't use any heat that might shrink them. Results: wrinkled where they didn't used to be. Disappointing. May 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Dryer for the Price Dries clothes well. Lots of cycles to use for drying clothes. June 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love the Steam Fresh feature I really love this dryer. The steam fresh feature is the best. I hate ironing and I have thrown my clothes back into the machine for the "bachelor press" and they come out like they were just washed and dried. Capacity is large and it can handle a full size sleeping bag or huge blankets with no problem and dry them perfectly. Lots of features and selections for different variations of loads which is very helpful. June 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy to use, very quiet We've been using a different brand of washer and dryer because we thought it's better to buy an expensive, well known brand to make sure that it will last for long time. But we got really disappointed with our last dryer, not only that it last for less than 10 years but it's also very loud that everytime we wash our clothes we need to turn up the volume of our tv just to hear the conversation better. With this dryer everything is superb, very quiet, easy to setup, nice looking exterior, easy to use and huge capacity for one load. We have another LG brand of appliances in our kitchen and another washer and so far for 3 years we didn't experience any problem yet. May 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great performance! I went from a very old dryer to this one and it's amazing how quicker this one dries clothes! It seems like it takes half the time. The steam cycle definitely is worth the extra cost - freshens the items and reduces wrinkles. May 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 Excellent Dryer I installed my gas dryer in March 2014. The dry time is amazingly short. The steam wrinkle free cycle which I thought I would never use is amazing. It runs so quietly I don't know it is on. And I love the music rather than an irritating buzz when my clothes are dry. May 21, 2014

Answer:
The long and short water hoses and required "Wye" fitting are included. All you do is disconnect the water hose to the washing machine from the hose bib in the wall, connect one end of the included short hose to the bib, the other end to the bottom of the Wye fitting and then reconnect the washing machine hose to one side of the Why and the included long hose to the other side and to the dryer.

Answer:
The hose was purchased separately. It comes in a pre-packaged kit that gives you the correct length and diameter for the set-up built into laundry rooms.

Answer:
The length depends on your space and the required elbows/distance. Please take a look at the quote below from the manual and the attached image.

"Follow the guidelines below to maximize drying performance and
reduce lint buildup and condensation in the ductwork.
Ductwork and fittings are NOT included and must be purchased
separately.
• Use 4-inch (10.2 cm) diameter rigid or semirigid metal ductwork.
• The exhaust duct run should be as short as possible.
• Use as few elbow joints as possible.
• The male end of each section of exhaust duct must point away from
the dryer.
• Use duct tape on all duct joints.
• Insulate ductwork that runs through unheated areas in order to
reduce condensation and lint buildup on duct surfaces.
• Incorrect or inadequate exhaust systems are not covered by the
dryer warranty. Failures or poor performance caused by such
exhaust systems will not be covered by the dryer warranty."

Answer:
The correct orifice for LP conversion is: order part number 383EEL3002D. It should be installed by a qualified technician and the change should be noted on the dryer. (It has to be ordered additionally to the dryer, the part is not included.) In case your retailer does not offer it, please follow the link below:

Problems with this model?

Are there known issues with this dryer? I received mine ~8wks ago & love the set. However, I had 3 issues with the dryer: 1) steam cycle dumps water on clothing & makes clothing inconsistently wet 2) a loud thumping upon starting up the dryer for several minutes 3) a piercing buzz during multiple cycles of drying. My dryer was replaced & very quickly the 3rd issue started with the replacement! I'm very torn. Do I try one last time or just resign myself to the fact I need to choose a new make/model for a washer/dryer set that doesn't have issues right away?
