Rated 1 out of 5 by from meh sound quality is decent. at least until you play a game with a lot of noise like engine noise in forza... then its starts too buzz and rattle. the remote refuses too control my LG TV. and the TV remote wont control the bar. oh, and the sub-woofer started to make a repeating BOOF noise for a few min before i finally figured out what the noise was coming from, and realized it was smoking out the hole in the front like a Cheech and Chong re-run... so no thanks, wont be buying it again.

All the connections are impossible to reach unless the TV is removed from the wall. The cable attachment need to be recessed more so as not to crimp the cable and to allow ease of access. The wireless sound bar is NOT. Tried to connect LG TV and LG sound bar via wireless connection and can't without a dongle. LG forgot to mention that fact in both the TV and sound bar info. Oops. Really? TV pic quality and sound bar quality are good but not that much better than other brands. All brands could distinguish their products by improving ease of use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Having trouble with the wireless subwoofer We have had this sound bar for about a year and have not had a problem until recently. There seems to be an issue with the wireless subwoofer. There is a loud rumbling/distortion sound coming from the subwoofer and the actual audio is barely noticeable over it. The noise is present when connected to the Portable connection and the optical input. I originally had the sound bar connected to the TOSLINK on our LG TV. I tried connecting directly to our cable box and our blu ray player and found the noise was still there. Has anyone else had a similar issue? I was researching replacing the wireless adapter card in the subwoofer, but I'm not sure yet if this is the failure.

We opted for LG based on positive reviews and with the thought that it would be most compatible with our LG smart TV. This past week, after only 18 months of use, the sound bar no longer turns on. We have tried multiple outlets and cannot power up the sound bar. The sound bar was plugged into the same surge protector power strip that powers the rest of our electronics and they are all fully functional. We are very disappointed with the quality of this product and will not purchase another LG.

The bluetooth subwoofer worked great and was very convenient, with great sound quality; however, I went on deployment for a few months, 3 to be exact, only to come back and find out that the subwoofer was no longer paired with the sound bar. I know, "First World Problems," but if it was free I wouldn't be complaining, However, I did pay some good money for this.

Does the sound bar work with the magic remote ???

That will depend on which Magic Remote you're inquiring about and if your TV is compatible with the Magic Remote and supports the universal remote control. Universal remote control for devices connected to the LG Smart TVs that support this feature can be controlled to varying degrees with a Magic Remote. The instructions for pairing the Subwoofer and the main unit on the LG Sound Bar Audio System with Bluetooth Connectivity, Model # NB3520A can be found on page 11 of the owner's manual for this unit. You can download a PDF file of the owner's manual and print it out from []. The first time you turn on the main unit and the Subwoofer, they will automatically pair. 1. Press and hold □ on the unit and MUTE on the remote control simultaneously. - “REMATE” appears on the display window. 2. Press PAIRING on back of the woofer. - The Yellow LED will flicker. 3. Turn the unit off and the on. - If you see the yellow LED, it’ s successful. 4. If you don’t see the yellow LED, try again Step 1 - Step 3....^IFV

Sound comes on muffled for a sec. Then comes good. Then sometimes has a  sound like a blown car speaker. This isn't all the time tho.

Bluetooth stopped working

If the Bluetooth on your LG Sound Bar Audio System with Bluetooth Connectivity, Model # NB3530A stopped working, it may be due to one or two things. Either your unit lost connection and needs to be paired again with the device that you are streaming the audio from or that the device you're streaming from suffered interference and lost its signal. Either way, you can try to troubleshoot the problem. Try to see if the Sound Bar can receive audio from another Bluetooth device, or see if your device can stream to another Bluetooth device. It may just be that you need to pair the units again which you should try before trying anything else...^IFV

Bluetooth stops working eventually?

The soundbar's Bluetooth function no longer works. It was working perfectly until today. I searched the Q & A on here and apparently a few others have had the exact same problem as me: When we switch to the BT function mode, the display shows "BT READY", only "BT." This seems to be a critical problem with this model. The speaker becomes basically useless for me if the Bluetooth doesn't work. I wrote a favorable review about this item on because of the great performance/cost ratio - 300W speakers! But I might have to change this now...I have had these soundbar for less than a year.
