I actually received the NB2035A 100w sound bar. Easy to install with much improvement to sound quality. If I could only get it programmed on my TWC remote I would have given all 5 stars.

Too Low Volume
Bought this as gift to improve on-board TV speaker volume, but no improvement. Sound quality and depth are improved, but still pathetic volume. I gave it 2 stars for ease of operation with LG TV and sound quality. Could not give it more due to volume issue. I have much better performing sound bars of similar price; some name brands, some not.

Perfect sound bar!
We have a 46" LED TV and this sound bar fits below it perfectly! This sound bar is not part of our main home theater setup and so we don't need a subwoofer in this case. This sound bar is perfect for everyday watching, e.g. news, sports, and some shows (where you're not expecting special sound effects). For clean, fuller sound that is much better than TV speakers, go for this LG NB2030A.

Terrific for what it is
I purchased this sound bar for my 70 year old parents. They had a 32 inch LCD TV and, as typical, on board speakers were weak and screechy. In addition, the room their TV is in has 20+ foot ceilings, Needless to say, the only way to hear the TV was to turn up the volume so loud that it would distort.
. I ordered this for them and it really did the trick. One of the big problems I had was trying to find a sound bar for a smaller TV. Most seemed to be 40 or more inches- along with a 4 inch height. This would have looked absurd- way longer than the TV and the height would have actually encroached on the screen. This one is appropriate for the smaller screen TV. The sound is clear and quite good for its size. Keep in mind this is not a big-buck unit; at the $90 something mark, it more than does the job. No, you are not going to shake the walls with bass or dazzle your neighbors. This unit will provide good, clean LOUD sound.
One thing you MUST be aware of is that it ONLY had a an optical sound input. No RCA's or any other type interface. This is not a big deal as most all cable/Satellite/receivers have an optical output. This is true digital sound. My Dad was able to locate and hook up the unit in just minutes and he was not familiar with optical connections. You may notice a slight lag time with the sound/picture. This is because the optical connection is lightning fast- a bit more than the picture signal. There is a simple adjustment knob. Dad corrected that in seconds too. BTW, the optical cord was included so no additional purchase is needed.
Really, not a bad deal at all. Mom and Dad can actually hear their TV now!
