Sound bar does exactly what we needed
We have several LG products in our home. Because the speakers in the TV are located at the bottom of the TV it is difficult for the hard of hearing people to hear dialogue. The sound bar makes it much easier because the speaker are facing front. The wireless woofer is totally useless unless your into hearing Boom Boom all the time.
LG needs to produce a sound bar without the woofer. We do not use our woofer with the sound bar. Also the sound bar should be set up so that when you turn on the TV the sound bar comes on as well.

good looking appearance
Because my t.v.'s speakers are in the back, I felt it was necessary to purchase a sound bar. In hindsight, I probably should have just updated my surround sound receiver. Remote control barely operates t.v., so you need 2 remotes. Also there are available functions on remote which I haven't figured out how to use.

Adds great big sound to your home theater. Wonderful connect ability to the internet for Netflix, hulu, etc. I love this device.

Great sound for a bar
I have been debating replacing my Blu-Ray surround system with a new player and a soundbar and finally decided to take the plunge. The price I got it for was outstanding. Sound quality is better than my old system with a fraction of the components. Set up was easy and the elimination of wires was amazing. Operation is easy, however, there are times where the soundbar does not produce sound without some finagling or coercion. It is attached to a LG 55' LED and an LG Blu-Ray player, all controllable through LG's Simplink. On occasions when I first power the system on there is no sound whatsoever and I need to select another input and then reselect the one I desire. I am not sure why this happens but to me it is not that big of a deal. It would be a perfect score if it was not for that one issue.
