What People Are Saying

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this projector. I had an LG PB63U (500 lumen 2014 model) and this model is much brighter and offers better features and picture all around. It has become one of my "go to" devices when I get home. I use it for gaming and movies and if you use it with a Roku stick it becomes a streaming beast! I highly recommend this projector for anyone who wants a larger picture for TV/Gaming/Movies, etc. Also, this projector has decent speakers for it's size and they fill up my 10 x 16 bedroom just fine. If that doesn't work for you, you can always connect via built-in bluetooth to a pair of headphones, or a home theater receiver. Overall this projector was a fantastic buy and I'm looking forward to the next LED projector from LG. For reference, I have attached an image of this projector playing Willy Beamish on Sega CD on my Retropie via the HDMI input.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best home projector It is small and lightweight, but it is doing everything that is possible and very high quality. The picture is large and bright, there are many well-chosen settings. Bluetooth speakers easily switch to the headphones. Plays different 3D formats, understand FAT32 and NTFS. The quality of 3D the best of what I have seen. And yet - it looks great.

How long is the LED covered for? It claims a life of up to 30000 hours. I only saw a warranty of one year so how do you support your claim.

The One (1) year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty and the lifespan of 30,000 hours for the LED lamp used in the LG 1500 Lumen Minibeam LED Projector With Screen Share and Bluetooth Sound Out, Model # PW1500 are not the same thing. Your LED TVs have the same Limited Manufacturer's Warranty. The Warranty covers the Labor and Parts for this projector. LED Screens, like this LED Lamp, have an estimated lifespan of 30,000 hours if used about 8 hours a day...^IFV

I bought PW1500 2 months ago, after around 100 hours of usage the projector could not display white color instead the whole screen is pink/ purple. Tried picture reset options and changed sources, no change Advice if the device is faulty or not.

Asked by: Suresh kumar
Check your video connection. Pink/purple screen is usually caused by loose connectors, bent pins, worn contacts, or bad wires.

I purchased a LG Projector PW1500, want to share HP laptop screen, please advise the procedure.

Asked by: Jameel Ansari
The Screen Share feature on the LG 1500 Lumen Minibeam LED Projector With Screen Share and Bluetooth Sound Out, Model # PW1500 is always activated and you can find it by pressing the input button on the remote. You will need to set the external input of the projector to Screen Share and enable related Screen Share functions on your laptop and connect it to the projector from a search list on your laptop. When connected, a PIN code will show on the display and you will enter that. The request for the pic code is only shown at the initial connection. If your laptop accepts the the request, Screen Share will be initiated. Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 are compatible with SCREEN SHARE. However, other versions of Windows, and some other operating systems, may not be compatible with SCREEN SHARE. For smartphones or tablets, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jellybean, Kitkat, and Lollypop versions of LG’s Android devices are guaranteed to be compatible. Certain Windows 8.1 laptops may have difficulty in reconnecting when initializing the device information during a wireless connection. In this case, it is recommended that you remove the registered device and reconnect...^IFV
