why the fan turns on when the door is opened?

I have LG Microwave LMV2083SW for about 5 years. Recently the fan started to turn on itself when the door is opened. If you close the door it turns off.
It does not look like it is the blower fan, because there is no air blowing and if you turn the blower fan on you can hear the noise getting worse and you can feel the air bloweing.
What is causing this?
