There are no specs telling me if it vents and there is no installation manual on line. I am in the process of determining what I need and your web site is not giving me the information I need.

Answer:
The venting duct can, potentially, connect to currently existing ventilation; however, it can also be set to vent back into the room in which it has been installed, which is its default configuration. To assist with the installation of this unit, it is recommended to contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000 to have a copy of the Installation Guide emailed to you.

Bulb replacement - hi/low/off light

I purchased a 20 watt halogen bulb with G4 base to replace burned out bulb. The bulb has two metal prongs which must fit into two small holes in the light fixture. I have found it impossible to insert the prongs and have broken off one prong. Have I purchased the wrong bulb? Is it necessary to have a service call for something this simple?

Answer:
We regret the trouble you have experienced in replacing this lamp. It seems that the lamp may have been the right type of bulb; however, as the lamp replacement instructions are not listed in the owner’s manual, it is recommended that such a lamp replacement be performed by a service technician, in order to prevent lamp damage. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....

How do I change the Hi/Low/Off bulbs on the LLmVM2058st?

One evening I hit the Hi/Low/Off button on the microwave to illuminate the stove top. The button beeped registering that it has been pushed but neither of the lights came on. I replaced the 20watt bulbs, hit the button and still no light!

I was suspicious of the two bulbs going out at the same time and they do not appear to have burned out (coil in side is sill intact).

I saw somebody already asked this question and was told to call a service tech. That answer is unacceptable; if it can be considered an answer.

I want to know if there is a fuse that may need to be replaced? Where it would be located? And if not, what my next step would be to trouble shoot this problem?

Answer:
I apologize, but no; this microwave oven does not have a fuse that is intended to be replaced by the owner of the product. Along with this, we are not technicians, so we cannot provide the technical assistance needed to determine the cause of such a lighting failure on this product. It is for such reasonings that the recommendation was made to contact a qualified service technician. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....
