You can only use it with its own app. This app will let you download a bowling game, an aquarium and a Chinese movie channel. That is all! You CANNOT use any other VR app available in the market. You cannot even use Google Street View.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great VR but could use more apps and updated apps The LGR100 is simple to use, and interfaces flawlessly with the LG G5. The VR apps already provided, like the aquarium and roller coaster, work perfectly and are impressive. Movies play as if you were inside a movie theater. However, at the moment you can't use it with other VR apps on Google Play. LG needs to remedy this. And the apps need to be updated. Otherwise, I'm pleased with my purchase, but awaiting better apps and firmware.

As the current economics at the domicile doesn't allow for the actual tactile activity, perhaps a good will model will follow this review.

I have been unsuccessful in sourcing any G5 friends in South Africa. Other than a removable battery that came with my purchase, the advertised modules have just not been available. I am not happy and will not be buying LG again.
