Answer:
It works for me after trying to different cables. I learned from another chat room that you must use the Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter when the resolution gets this high. It needs that extra power.

Answer:
The back of the 93 is white

The 93 has an awesome silver stand

The 93 supposedly isn't Mac compatible.

The 93 goes for $100 less at Fry's, and $200 more at NewEgg and Amazon via marketplace sellers.

Answer:
The two monitors mentioned are very similar in their design. The primary differences lie in the accessories and the USB ports. Both monitors have 4 USB ports. The EA73P has one Upstream USB 3.0 port, 2 Downstream USB 3.0 ports, and one Downstream USB 2.0 port; the EA93P has one Upstream USB 3.0 port and 3 Downstream USB 3.0 ports. The only other difference, listed on the specification sheets, is the included MHL and USB cables packaged with the EA93P monitor. This information can be seen with the specification sheets listed on our website at http://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-29....

The LG EA73 monitor makes multi-tasking super easy with its UltraWide screen and 4-Screen Split feature. You can divide your screen into 4 customizable segments making it simple to have the information you need right in front of you. Have files on two separate devices? With Dual Link-up you can connect both devices to the monitor and view a file from each at the same time.
