Although subjective, colour is very good vs other monitors. 21:9 widescreen grows on you. 1st time on, the screen is so wide it almost appears to be convex but got use to it now. I bought this screen as a 2nd monitor for work for more real estate. Split screen software is good, but 29" size is useless going 4-way split, or any horizontal split for that matter. The vertical splits work great, but would have prefer a 2/3-1/3 split screen option rather than the 2 screen 16:5 which is 3/4-1/4.
Lots of settings if you feel adjustment is required.
For what I paid for on this monitor, I'm happy with running 1-16:9 + 1-21:9 versus running 3-16:9 monitors#for me it meant adding another video card#.

Great monitor for multitasking. I use it with the screen split in two connected to my MacBook Air. I have two browsers open at the same time side by side, for two different aspects of my two jobs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by chente Great product
When I saw this in the Best Buy showroom I was hesistant to get this product, thinking this can't be good. After some site surfing in the store, and a great deal, I bought it. The brilliance is consistent with all programs, sites, audio and visual. We use tablets and docking stations, and this solved our problem of two monitor hookups with a single output very nicely. Great deal, excellent product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Syodoy2 Four screen shot, color effect and quality
The four screen shot are really good for my work reference as a designer. The color effect of this monitor for my work is really good that I purchased two of this type of monitor with the other one smaller in size. There is nothing to complain about this monitor except that it took the whole length of my work table. All two monitors are HDMI connected. 3D viewing is excellent. Good performance and quality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Batman73 Right source for today's intellegent consumer
Coming from a retired motion picture/television (analog) technology background - this 21:9 ultra wide format is a step forward in the right direction as an alternative if your creative purpose is graphic arts, photo editing or video streaming TV cable programs i.e. Net-Flix, Hulu Plus, Google View, etc (as a frugal economic prospective). However the 1080 X 2560 resolution could be better served at 1440 X 2560 to round this monitor out to near perfection, with it's inherent realistic color depiction, which it has right out of the box.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JP's-25UM65-P Review Different and Great!!
The overall quality of this monitor is great. It is different from what is out there in the market. The software that comes with the monitor is very easy to install on any PC or Mac. Once you install the software, you have many sizing options for your screen. I personally like the split screen. I can do work on one and see the news on the other. The image quality is crisp and detailed. I am thinking of upgrading to the next model up because of how great this one turned out to be. Thanks LG!

I wanted more area and wider. Got that. IPS panel hipe? Just a hipe, no real benefit I see. Colors are good, picture is good. You will need a DVI-D, I doubt that many can make the HDMI read 2500 X 1080. No dead areas, black level is good, no dead pixels. I'd suggest the 34" though unless a good sale. Two would be interesting.
