Company’s New Product Line, First U.S. Training Facility

Signal Continued Growth in Commercial Air Conditioning Marketplace


CHICAGO, Jan. 26, 2009 – As the global leader in air conditioning production for the last eight years, LG Electronics is bringing its worldwide product innovation to the U.S. market. The launch of the innovative LG “Multi-V” system and advanced energy-saving technologies in the United States correspond with the increase in demand for global energy efficiency.

Now, with the inauguration of a new American President already committed to investing more in green initiatives and technological innovation, LG Electronics is primed to do the same. LG’s goal is to provide customers such as architects, building engineers and hotel operators with a broader range of cost and energy-efficient climate control solutions that do not sacrifice stylish design or quiet operation.

Evidence of LG’s commitment in the U.S. market, and against the current economic hurdles of a recession, the company invested in a new training facility based in Roswell, Ga., to support its fast-growing commercial air conditioner business. Opened last month, this 16,000 square foot state-of-the art facility has the capability to train hundreds of engineers, contractors and technicians each month.
