Answer:
That is your burners going off & on every time which is about 30 seconds or so.So that is normal for the burners to do that.

Answer:
A clicking sound is normal on this electric range cooktop surface. The click is simply some relays on the printed circuit board. There is no cause for concern with this.

Answer:
The serial number label for this range will likely be found on the back of the unit. If you are looking at the back, then it should appear on a label on the right hand side of the back of the unit. This will be the left, when looking at the front of the range.

What is your suggestion for keeping the control panel clean?

I couldn't find the answer in the owner's manual. I want to know the recommended way for cleaning every part of the range before I use it for the first time. There are instructions for every surface (the glass cook top, the stainless steel, etc.), but there are no instructions for cleaning the control panel (pad). Thanks.

Answer:
Hi Patricia,

I used standard household cleaner (not the kind for greasy stuff) and my panel has stayed nice and clean. I'd suggest to be careful not to use something too harsh or a chemical or cloth that may scratch the surface. I'm currently using a microfiber cloth and the "Method" household cleaner in lavendar to clean the control panel and all seems well.

Good luck!

Answer:
We appreciate your interest in this range. We recommend cleaning any splatters, on the control panel, as quickly as possible, in order to prevent staining. When cleaning the whole unit, we recommend using a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the control panel. The cloth should not be “wet” as water can run and get into the control board.

Answer:
Electric ovens require a 208V or 240V electrical outlet. According to your installation guide, a power cord is listed as “PARTS NOT PROVIDED” which is standard for electrical ovens. This unit will require a UL Approved 40 or 50 AMP power cord. Page 6 of your installation guide will provide specifics for choosing the best cord.

Answer:
I own this LG double door oven electric stove, and the blue interior is outstanding..it is very attractive. My old stove had black interior, but my new LG oven has the blue. This was the first thing that popped out at me when I first looked at the model oven in the store. Now that I have baked several foods inside the oven, I realize that the blue shows off the foods by complimenting them, and the foods show up better. I can see the whole interior due to the blue color too when viewing through the window. When the lights are on, it is so pretty when looking through the very large oven windows. The blue makes the foods more visible and makes the interior very pretty and also compliments the foods, making them more attractive, while they are cooking. I love the blue interior and find it makes my new LG stove more quality.

It is a design feature and the blue may increase the visibility of the food inside while cooking.
