I was very excited to be getting all new appliances (stove, refrigerator, dishwasher & microwave). thought I was very careful by researching, reading reviews, etc. Bought all LG stainless about two months ago. Stove is model LDE3037ST. The first time I cooked on the stove top it left a mark that I cannot get off. I use only the Weiman stove top polish that came with. I read that sugar-y foods could etch stove top so to clean off immediately. I was cooking sloppy joe & chili which i guess both tomato based items have sugar but I did clean immediately. Also still not used to the amount of work it takes to clean kitchen after every meal every night. I cannot just wipe down appliances anymore. After wipe down, the stove top has to be polished with certain polish, certain polishing scrubber, then paper towel. Then the stainless parts have to be polished using a different certain cleaner & cloth. No complaints on how it cooks but not overly impressed either. I guess I am too tired from all the cleaning and polishing to be very excited.

LOVE MY NEW STOVE!!!
I have only been in our new home for about 5 years. The house came with a pretty nice stainless steel stove but I really wanted an upgrade to the Convection Range. I love the Oven!!! I love the little tune it plays after it is done preheating and it is so much faster than my other stove at preheating. I am a whole new cook now- My husband says he would have bought me one years ago had he known I would be cooking all these new recipes! It can brown a pie crust like nothing I have ever seen for a home stove. My turkey rocked it was so juicy and tender. I can't express enough on how this stove changed my life-I recommend it to anyone who loves to cook...even if you don't you might change your mind.

Lot of features but...
This range is spectacular looking inside and out, but the cooktop attracts so much dust daily I can make dust bunnies out of them. Even on hi temp, water seems to take twice as long to boil as my old electric stove. The design of the two standard oven racks is very annoying in that there are two "handles" that flip upward making it hard to put something in or take it out without burning yourself, especially in the smaller upper oven. While I have been experimenting with the convection features, I've noticed that with the auto conversion the oven does in convection mode, things like cookies and even a pork roast take much longer than usual to cook. Even baking things in normal baking mode seems to take longer than usual. The manual could use some work to make using some of these features easier. The manual also tells you the broiler pan and grid are sold separately, but provides no link to purchase them. It also says you must use a convection roasting rack on the broiler pan/grid, but doesn't give you a clue as to where to get one. I spent a lot of my own time trying to track down these items so I could convection roast some pork, and in the end had to buy another brand on another site. The stove is pretty, but not very impressive in performance so far.
