I HAVE BEEN READING REVIEWS THAT IT SIMPLY IS NOT HOT ENOUGH. THIS IS MY MAIN REASON FOR ORDERING THIS. I HAVE A CAST IRON GRIDDLE AND WANT TO USE IT THERE FOR BREAKFASTS. PLEASE ADVISE.

Answer:
I have used the griddle that came with. You have to pre-heat it quite a bit as it's cast iron, but once it's hot it will cook about anything, including pancakes and bacon, but hopefully not together. Watch the big oven, mine went out right out of warranty at 13 months.

Answer:
The center burner has 8000 BTU which is good for pancakes, but if you'd prefer something else, I'm sure we can find something for you.

Answer:
When cooking using convection cycle, the oven temperature is automatically reduced by 25°F. The display will show the changed temperature. This feature is called ”AUTO CONVERSION”. Your range comes with this feature “ENABLED”. To DISABLE the auto conversion feature, see “How to set convection auto conversion function” in Operating Instructions section of the manual.

The manual of the LG LDG3016ST Range has reference charts that will give you suggestions for cooking/baking times. Adjust the cook time according to your recipe.

Thank you very much for your question!

I have been shopping for ranges and like everything about this one, save for the fact there are only 2 racks; I'd like 2 for the lower oven and one on top. Is the lower oven only configured to accomodate a single rack?

We just bought this model and we received 3 racks in ours (all three were installed in the bottom oven but we moved one to the top oven). So far, we love it!

We are switching from electric to gas range. Do we need to ensure venting to outside? Stove will be on an inside wall. There is an over range hood, but vented inside.

Answer:
Residential ranges such as the LDG3016ST by code, do not need to be vented outside. Just be sure to keep the oven vents clear and the bottom of the oven free of pans or aluminium foil that could block the air flow and everything should be just fine. Residential oven range hoods are for venting odors and moisture. They are not intended for venting high heat as would be needed with a commercial range.
