I looked at the back of the stove behind the control panel but there is nothing. I need to register my stove. Is there anywhere else the serial number would be located?

Answer:
I found my serial number for this model on the back left side (looking at front) down near the floor. I had to pull the whole oven out to find it.

It was closer to the floor than the control panel.

Answer:
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this dual gas range. The Model/Serial label should be located on the back of the oven, near the top, behind the controls. The oven would likely have to slide away from the wall in order to access this label. The only other location for this label would be just inside the door frame on the lower oven, on the left hand side.

Why won't the stove top & burners stay clean?

I've used different cleaners and nothing keeps the top and burners clean. Always streaky and a greasy looking. I don't fry foods so that's not the cause. Boiling water can cause this, too. Sometimes If I use a paper towel after cleaning I can get some of the grease and streaks out. But that's rare. And the burners are a problem, too. They burn up and have marks. What is your solution to this. I'm disappointed for the money the stove cost. I clean my stove after every use, so there's no build up. Thank you

Answer:
Hint for cleaning black appliances is to use degreaser dish detergent to wash black surfaces and dry. Use paper towel and spray window cleaner or dip in a little vinegar on paper towel and do a final wipedown. for a squeaky clean finish. Works like a charm. If you use fabric softener on your dishtowels, it will streak the black surface

I have the same problem and this is reason that I did not give the stove five stars for quality. I too am disappointed that the burners stain so easily. Nothing I have tried to use to clean them works either. Hopefully someone reading this has a suggestion.

Answer:
We regret your displeasure with the maintenance requirements of this dual-oven range. Once the cooktop has cooled, wash any oil / grease spills and splatters with warm water and a mild soap. Rinse the surface, dry it, and then buff/polish it with a dry cloth. If a stainless polish is needed, be certain to always wipe in the direction of the metal surface finish, as wiping across the grain will leave a cloudy/streaky appearance.

why doesn't the top half of the oven cook as well as the bottom?

I just got this stove and I am using the ovens for the first time. So baked chicken and potato's, I figure let me use the top oven because it's such a small pan it should be fine. 45 minutes into the cook time the chicken is still very raw and not very hot. Did I do something wrong? Push bake on upper oven, went to the right and punched in 350, then to bottom right and hit start. Got the little song and 45 minutes later, raw chicken. I am now going to try sticking it into the bottom oven on same temp, wish me luck or we aren't eating tonight! Please help, so I don't go through this again. Product LG3036 double oven.

I use the top oven all the time. I made lasagna, baked clams, stuffed mushrooms, and ziti. Most of all I cook pizza and it is done in about ten minutes. It sounds like either you're not doing something right or there is something wrong with your top oven. Does the oven shows that it is preheated to the temperature you have it set on?

Answer:
The 3036 has a convection fan oven as the bottom oven. The 3016 does not have a fan (so no convection).

Answer:
The LDG3036ST has the amazing Easy Clean™ Feature!

LG’s easyCLEAN enamel in the new oven makes cleaning the inside of the range super easy. The easyCLEAN feature works with LG’s new enamel to help lift LIGHT soils such as drops of cheese from pizzas or LIGHT grease splatter from small roasts without harsh chemicals for safer and faster hand-cleaning. While traditional enamel surfaces require harsh chemicals to clean, easyCLEAN uses ONLY WATER and runs for just 20 minutes in low temperatures to help loosen LIGHT soils before hand-cleaning. Compared to the more intense Self Clean process, your LG oven will help you clean with LESS HEAT, LESS TIME, and virtually NO SMOKE OR FUMES.

I just purchased this oven range. When baking cookies at 300, convection, the fan maybe ran once or twice. Is this normal? The convection feature does not seem to cook any differently than the standard bake feature. A disappointment. Seems I just have a standard double oven with a fan that runs occasionally- not a convection option. I understand there isn't a seperate heating element like a "true" convection- but wouldn't the fan at least run often?

Answer:
According to LG- the convection fan should only turn on when the heating element turns on. It cycles on and off. It does not circulate air constantly- or even at standard intervals. I asked why it does not constantly circulate the air as other manufacturers models do- and I received no response.
