"bought this range 11/2009 and have had 4 service calls in 18 months. The last 3 were for the same problem. Using the oven and just stopped heating. Always the same part, some relay module. Takes 2 or 3 days for a tech to look at the range, and another week or two to order and replace the part. Unfortunately LG has not come up with a better module so I expect to continue to have issues with this range. I am very unhappy with this product and would not recommend it to anyone. Found when I did some research online that other people have had the same issue."

"We purchased this range about 19 months ago. After reading online reviews about LG service and parts, we decided to purchase an extended warranty from Best Buy. After using the self-cleaning feature on the oven, we got an F-7 error notice when we tried to preheat the regular bake oven the next day. The convection oven worked fine. It took several weeks to get the needed parts, as they were backordered. The repairman replaced the thermostat, the temperature sensor and a control board. The oven is still not working properly as only the bottom element is heating on the regular oven, but not the broiler unit, which is used when preheating. That means it takes 45 minutes to preheat the oven. The convection doesn't work at all now, so another control panel is being ordered. The technician said he has fixed several of these ovens. So glad to have an extended warranty, but I have concerns that this may not get fixed for a while.
Up until this point, I loved this range. It preheated quickly, cooked evenly and top cleaned easily with glass cooktop cleaner. The controls were a lot more precise than any other range I have purchased.

"The oven was a Christmas gift to my mother. She is a bit of a clean freak and loves that there are no knobs for grease or other dirt to collect. Instead, this oven has a completely digital control center that can be wiped clean without having to worry about various crevices. All digital displays are a bit risky, but this one has had no problems to date."

Best Features: great features for price, well made, works very well, good looking
Cons: element size layout
"I have had this stove for a year now. the stove performs very well as does the oven. i have never experience f1 error, but i have not used self cleaning feature. seems to be related from other reviews i have read online. the stove and oven have very nice features, especially for the money. love the convection and the timed bake \ auto shut off. also like the hot surfac warnings on the burner. this is my first electric stove so it took a while to get used to cooking electric. the burners take a little while to get up to a hot temp - but once they do it really holds the heat. the only reason i give only 4out of 5 stars are some reservations i have about the cooktop design. firstly - i would really love 2 adjustable size elements on the front. there is one very large, and one you can adjust from small to large. the adjustable size gets all the use and all the wear. if i were shopping for a new cooktop, i would consider a gradiated black\ grey cooktop rather than smooth black. it is very chic, but it is a dust magnet. also, the smooth black shows evry little imperfection . the cooktop has held up very well, and has resisted any scratching after a year of cooking every day, but i do find tha i am cleaning it a lot. dont get me wrong, it is a lot easier to clean with the smooth top, but you do have to be very diligent about cleaning very well after every use to avoid staining the cooktop. i do have some water stains from a pot boiling over that wont go away. they only show when the over the range light shines down. but it bugs me. i do highly recommend the stove. just a few nit picky things i wanted to point out."
