Answer:
I purchased new stainless steel that are entirely flat on the bottom and not rounded which has allowed for very even cooking. Manual recommends a even surface.

Answer:
I would think that a 3 prong plug would fit in a 3 hole receptacle, but I have seen a variety of different plug shapes, so who knows? Give it a try and see.

Answer:
Some thing is wrong with your unit. It takes just a few minutes for my unit to reach 400 degrees. Is your stove wired to it's own separate circuit in the house? Do you have enough amperage in that circuit to operate that stove?

Can the volume be increased on the beeper?

The timer alarm is not very loud and I cannot hear it if I am in another area of my house. From the looks of the manual, it appears the volume is either on or off, nothing in between. Can this be changed?
