How to vent?

My current appliance is a cooktop that vents from below. How does this oven vent? Do you need an exhaust hood above or can it vent below?

I want to install it at the time my new cabinets and counter are installed so I need to know the exact differences between this unit and a traditional "slide-in" and/or "free-standing" range

Also, one of your staff says this is a 250 volt unit, but your manual says 240 volt/40 Amps... which is it??

Answer:
im noticing 'slide in' oven to be flat because they usually have the 'over the range' microwave above them. 'free standing' ovens are usually too tall to fit under microwaves because their knobs are on top. they all probably work in some cases but it basically comes down to preference and the dimensions of kitchen. free standing was too big for the space i had so i had to go with slide in.

does LG make a slide-in electric convection/conventional range/oven with the smoothtop extending over the countertop instead of being trapped within a 1" high perimeter ledge? what is the point of the ledge other than to make the rangetop extend an undesirable inch above the countertop and to create a food trap around the entire perimeter between the smoothtop and the "frame" edge?

Answer:
your right it'sa pain to clean if something drops on the sides but like some people in my situation the slide in works. the oven the goes over counter top is called a drop in but they seem to be smaller then i wanted so the slide in was the next best thing. im not a fan of the edges but i try to be careful. my oven lines up perfectly to the counters edge though after some tricks we did.

Trim kit for slide in

We are considering buying the LG LSE3092SE but are concerned about gaps on the sides and back where the fit is not flush. Is a trim kit sold? Why does the stove not fit flush with the back wall? How our new range installs will be our deciding factor.
