If you leave the door open for a few seconds it has an annoying chime to let you know, but that is probably a good thing. In the last month we have started to experience a very loud grinding noise which lasts maybe 3 seconds. It happens once every week or two. We're going to have it serviced, but since the noise isn't predictable we have some concern about being able to remedy it. Right now I would not recommend it, but that may change.

Makes lots of ice Big fridge drawers, and the third drawer is neat and use-able! LED lighting is bright, easy to see all areas. Spill proof shelving can save a mess before it happens. Alarm telling you the door is open too long is a great feature too! Buy this fridge!

I contacted Sears (which is where it was purchased) and, since it was within the 30 day return policy, it was replaced with like kind. Since then, the new one has been very quiet and has been holding the temperature. We are happy with the refrigerator at this point.

If you keep a door open overly long it plays a tune to wake you up, which is amusing. The freezer is nice and fairly accessible. I guess there's no good way to design a small freezer for accessibility, but this is acceptable and it works nicely. Lots of space. Small point: the door handle is smooth so it cleans nicely unlike matte finish appliances which always seem to hold the dirt. Good purchase, good product.

Side by side didn't work for me because the fridge is located next to a wall. The delivery man swapped the door to open to the left and solved all my problems.

The interior lighting is excellent. I love the ease of having everything within reach up top. The freezer drawer closes smoothly. The ice dispenser is precisely located (the ice is abundant). It is very solid. It is quiet and very attractive. I previously had a side by side with water and ice in the door. I was not happy with the look or more importantly the problems that came with faulty water dispensing.

CAN THE GLASS FROM THE SHELF COME OUT OF THE FRAME.

ON ONE OF THE ADJUSTABLE SHELF'S STUFF HAS GOTTEN UNDER THE GLASS ON THE BACK BETWEEN THE FRAME AND THE GLASS IT WILL NOT SOAK CLEAN AND IT LOOKS GROSS. WHEN I LOOK AT THE BOTTOM IT LOOKS LIKE THERE TWO TABS THAT HOLD THE GLASS & FRAME BUT I CANT FIGURE HOW TO GET IT TO OPEN. HELP PLEASE THANK YOU

How do I get the shelf out about the crisper drawers

I have liquid spilled under the glass on the shelf above the crisper drawers. I can't get it to come out so I can clean it. What can I do

We regret the trouble you have experienced with this product. The glass for the shelf over the crisper drawers is designed to be lifted out from inside the drawers. Open and/or remove the crisper drawers and lift the glass from beneath it. Information about this can be found on page 40 of your owner’s manual.

Does the LBC24360SW have a linear compressor

The spec sheet on this website indicates that it does under the warranty statement but, none of the other literature mentions it. I just ordered this model but my hopes of the linear compressor are fading.
