Only had it for 3 days but I like what I see
I need to know how to clean the outside stainless steal . I got on line and tried everything!!! Even bought stainless steal wipes that made it 10 times worse.

LOVE this 'fridge!!!!
This is our first LG product and we LOVE it!!! We bought this refrigerator to replace a french door style with the freezer on the bottom that kept getting mold in the seals - ick! Although it measures about 2" smaller than our other one, we get a lot more in it because of its superior design, including the wide and awesome shelves in the door! It is quiet, dependable and the LED lighting is great -- very easy on the eyes, helpful for cleaning and I can find everything I need, even way in the back. The one thing that I would change is for the top to be all the same height. Instead there is a higher part for some reason on the front top part of the refrigerator, so to open our cupboard doors above it, I have to pull it forward. Fortunately, I don't use that cupboard very often and the wheels make it easy to pull in and out, so it's not a big deal at all. This is by far the best refrigerator we've ever owned! I strongly recommend it! And, we will be looking for LG in the future - absolutely excellent product! :0) - Laura

Nice refrigerator but has a problem
We bought this refrigerator 3 months ago. It was the only one that would fit into our space. It has many great features and very nice appearance. But it is noisy. The dealer came to the house to inspect it and said this was typical of the compressor in this refrigerator. It can be heard in other rooms of the house and vibrates through our wood floors so it can be heard on other floors of the house.

Great refrigerator
This is my 2nd Lg refrigerator because I had to leave my first one in my condo when I sold. The new home did not have this refrig with the bottom freezer. It is a beautiful appliance and has all the features that I like.

Missing temperature readout..dumb!
Just installed this refrigerator so I do not yet have much to go on. But one thing is missing. When you open the door there is a "Control Pad" that allows you to set the desired temperature for the refrigerator. This is fine and convenient (although I am not sure why I would change it from 37 degrees for refrig and 0 for the freezer.). But missing is a readout of the actual temperature. So how can someone know whether or not the freezer is at the required temperature..or the refrig? I cannot help but think that some marketing guru decided that they should save this "very valuable feature" for a higher priced model. Do I now have to go out and buy a freezer and refrig thermometer? The information is all there in the computer. The digital readout would cost a few penny to add if that. Poor going LG.

Love this fridge!
Hated my 2 year old Whirlpool top freezer as shelf space was not designed well. This LG is PERFECT and has space I'm not even using yet.

This may sound dumb. I just purchased the LDC24370ST through a rewards program from my employer. I have not had it delivers yet. I have looked at the dimensions, and I'm wondering how is this going to fit through my doorway to get into my house?

Can the freezer door or panel be replaced? We have some dents and would either like to have them banged out or replace the panel or door.

I have the refrigerator model LDC24370ST. My ice maker does not shut off when the ice bin is full. Does the ice maker have an auto shut off?
We regret the inconvenience you have experienced with this refrigerator and its ice maker. The ice maker does have an Automatic Shut Off Arm, which should respond to the ice level as it nears the bottom of the dispenser. The other option would be to deactivate the POWER SWITCH on the narrow end of the dispenser.

Am I supposed to remove the stirofoam I see behind the multi air flow inside the refrigerator? Temperature say 37 but it does not tell like it?
We regret the trouble you have experienced with this refrigerator. No Styrofoam should be blocking the air ducts, but none should have to be removed.

My ice tastes horrendous what kind of filter if any is recommended
