Easy digital panel, inside and above the doors, push up or down. It actually can not be made more simple. Read the direction that come with the refrig., they seem straight-forward.

Answer:
The temperature settings, on this refrigerator, are on a cycle between the highest and lowest temperature settings. Each press of the temperature button, next to the temperature display lowers the temperature at a factory-specified rate. Once the temperature reaches its lowest setting, the next press of the button will return the thermostat to the highest temperature setting, to begin its declining rate once more.

Answer:
There should not be an ON/OFF switch on the display for the ALARM; rather, there should a be a button with a small indicator light above it, that states ALARM. When the indicator light is ON, the the alarm is set to ON. When the indicator light is OFF, then the alarm has been deactivated. Answer:
We appreciate your interest in the proper operation of this refrigerator. It is recommended for this unit to remain at least 2” from the rear wall, and at least 24” in front of the unit to allow for the doors to open. We also recommend about 1/8” on the sides of the unit, and another inch above the unit, for proper circulation.

I was thinking about buying the lfc25776st model. Although ratings have some complaints and I am wondering how those have been addressed. These were 2011 complaints.
1. fuses in the frig blowing.

2. inability to cool upon start up.

I guess I want to know what potential problems occur with this model.

Thank you

Answer:
I bought mine in January 2012 and have had only one minor problem , a plastic part broke on the right hand door hinge . The part didn't effect its operation and was fixed by the geek squad within 4 days . Love it but it does have tender doors they dent with ease . Got cold quickly and no electrical problems so far .

Answer:
The fuse issue sounds like a dependability thing, and since I have only had mine for a few months, I won't comment on that except, so far so good.

The cooling on startup was fine. We got our fridge, and the instructions state that it needs some time to get to the right temp anyways. We let it sit for 12-24 hours (I don't recall how long it said to wait), since we had our old fridge in the garage holding our food anyways. Perhaps if we were putting food items in right away we would have noted a problem.

Even if it took a while to cool, It doesn't matter now, the food is at the appropriate temperature.
