Rated 3 out of 5 by Jayhawkfan Nice try LG
I have owned this fridge for almost 1 year. I had several service calls in the beginning to get the doors adj. correctly. They are better, but I must still make a definate push to push the doors closed. I was told that the doors were the best they were every going to get. Many times I come in to see the door ajar. Most doors close with a slight swing when you close them. Not these! Then I had a problem with air in the lines. Great, prompt service on that. Resolved. Now, my freezer and icemaker are not working properly. Dealer has washed their hands of me, no support, Metro Appliances and More in Wichita. LG has been great as far as service. repairman will be out tomorrow to check out bottom freezer. So beware. Maybe I just got a bad one. I love all the features and appearance.

We have this unit for a few weeks now and have been very happy, I can not believe how quiet this unit is ( actually I still check it to be sure it's running) There is no difference in temperature from one shelf OR area to another. Plenty of room and you can feel the quality of each part. Drawers are strong and work effortlessly!!

I've had it fewer than two years and now the ice dispenser is starting to act up (e.g., the ice flow does not stop when I release the lever, the dispenser flap doesn't always close at the end of the ice flow). The water flow is sometimes weak.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mcduff Great refigerator so far
Have had this frig for a month and it's great so far. Water/ice in door is a breeze to use as is the retractible shelf underneath to rest pitchers on. The tall space allows bigger pitchers for ice and water. The inside frig. shelves are easy to readjust. The freezer and tray are also well designed. The only issue so far is that the doors need to really be pushed hard to close, unlike our former side-by-side. The unit is not energy-star compliant, but the estimated savings are minimal if it was. Would recommend this frig to anyone who cannot accomodate a 25 cubic foot one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Dying in Colorado Lemon
Had this machine about 6 mths when freezer started warming. After 2 repairmen and 3 separate visits, they replaced the evaporator and dryer. Then the compressor overheated clogging the cap tube. Now another repairman is coming because the freezer is warming and frosting up which means I can't get the ice tray out. This machine is a lemon so I will see what LG does next. I liked the frig when it worked and would still get another one. Lemons happen in all products.

Rated 5 out of 5 It fits
We wanted a french door to replace a side-by-side, but were limited in the width of the space available. This refrigerator fits very nicely. We like the configuration of the refrigerator space and the freezer compartment is spacious. We are able to get much bigger items in the freezer. We like the water and ice dispenser because they are quite tall allowing a gallon pitcher to be filled. The icemaker also gives both cube and crushed ice. The refrigerator light, however, is quite large and interferes with placing tall objects on the top shelf.

Our entire appliance group in our house is LG. So we purchased this refrigerator for a tight space. It fits perfectly, has plenty of space. We were not sure we would like the freezer at the bottom but it works fine.
