Answer:
It is recommended that, when the unit is first installed, the freezer temperature should be set to 0 degrees Fahrenheit, while the refrigerator should be set to 37 degrees. Once the unit reaches these temperatures, you may change the setting to however you would prefer.

Reattaching Tilting Basket on LFX25980 French 3 door refrigerator

This basket (MAN381545-1 & MAN381549-#2) was accidentally removed from under my icemaker. It is still intact. Is there a way to reattach it to the refrigerator wall or is it totally broken?

It attaches to part # MCK381632 R. 03 KS #1

I can not activate any of the LED display controls and an ER 1F message is displaying on the screen. What does this mean and can I reset it or do I have to have repair service?

Answer:
The ER IF code is indicative of a problem with the Icemaker Fan or its motor. This can potentially be resolved by allowing the refrigerator to thaw for about 4 hours, and then reconnecting it. If it does not, then the unit will likely require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....

Answer:
We appreciate your interest in this refrigerator. Replacing the filter causes a small amount of water to drain. Place a cup under the filter hold to catch it. Rotate the knob of the old water filter cartridge counterclockwise. When the cartridge is released, you will feel it click out of place. Remove the old cartridge by pulling it out of its housing. Take the new cartridge out of its packaging and remove the protective cover from the o-rings. Hold the cartridge handle in its VERTICAL position and push it firmly into place until it stops. Twist the handle clockwise until it clicks into place. The filter will not turn if it has not been pushed in far enough.
