Answer:
Be sure you are not blocking freezer air flow and air can circulate. We store ice cream in the bottom of the double drawers and it needs to sit for a few minutes to scoop easier.

Answer:
We regret the trouble you have experienced in this matter. If the freezer is set to 0 degrees, and the ice cream is soft, then it would first be recommended to check the vents along the sides of the freezer compartment, to ensure there are no obstructions to the air flow. The second recommendation would be to ensure that this 0 degrees is measuring Fahrenheit and not Celsius degrees, as a Celsius 0 degrees would equate to 32 degrees Fahrenheit, and will not be as cold. If neither of these are the case, then the unit may require service. To make service arrangements, you may either contact our Customer Interactive Center at 800-243-0000, or you can check our Repair Provider Lookup on our website, at http://www.lg.com/us/support/repair....

Answer:
Cleaning the Exterior:For models with a stainless steel exterior, use a commercially available stainless steel cleaner in
accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. You may also use a clean sponge or soft cloth and a mild detergent in warm water. Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners. Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

IMPORTANT: Do not use cleaning waxes,
concentrated detergents, or cleaners containing
petroleum on plastic refrigerator parts such as door
liners or gaskets.

Answer:
It is recommended that you replace the filter approximately every 6 months, when the water filter indicator reaches 0 months, or when the ice and water dispenser noticeably decreases output. To remove the old cartridge, press the push button to open the filter cover. The removal of the filter will likely cause a small amount of water, about an ounce, to drain. Place a cup under the filter hole to catch any waste. Pull the cartridge downward. Pull out the filter cartridge. When opened at a full angle, the cartridge should easily come out. Take the new cartridge out of its packing and remove the protective cover from the o-rings. With the cartridge ears in the horizontal position, push the new filter cartridge into the manifold hole until it stops. Swivel the cartridge upward until it firmly locks into place. Finally, click the cover back into place. These instructions are found on pages 36 and 37 of your owner’s manual.
