Answer:
Yes. There are detailed instructions attached to the unit when purchased (for installer), or you can find it in the manual.

It involves disconnecting the water line (quick disconnect), disconnecting the electrical connectors, removing some screws, and turning the top locking clips to remove top doors. Remove two screws for bottom drawer.

Answer:
The default setting is 37 fridge and 0 freezer. However, use a thermometer to verify that it is set correctly (the display is not accurate).

Typically you would want about 40 degrees for fridge and 0 degrees for freezer, but adjust to your preference.

Answer:
It is recommended that, when the unit is first installed, the freezer temperature should be set to 0 degrees Fahrenheit, while the refrigerator should be set to 37 degrees. Once the unit reaches these temperatures, you may change the setting to however you would prefer.

Answer:
I asked our sales person at Lowe's where we purchased our LG LFX33975ST if magnets will stick on the fridge because our grand kids stick up their art work.
I was told that the higher grade stainless steel, you can not use magnets but I found to my surprise that the sides of the fridge magnets will stick. So I guess the fridge is not made of all higher grade stainless steel, just the front of it.

Answer:
Stainless steel is not magnetic, therefore magnets won't attach to the stainless surface. Put your magnets on the regular steel (magnetic) sides of the unit.

Answer:
I apologize, but no; stainless steel is not a magnetic alloy. Typically, there has to be a ferrous layer behind the stainless steel in order for it to have the appearance of being magnetic. Some locations on the door, such as around a hinge or dispenser, may be able to accept a magnet, but on the whole, it does not. Our Titanium, Smooth Black and Smooth White finishes all can allow for magnets.

Hello, it looks like there is a smaller shelve built into the freezer section. I attached an image below. I'm not sure if you might be referring to the ice bin that some models come have?
